I believe he also used to weigh like 300 pounds (not kidding) before he got into MMA.

Certainly not surprised that Cerrone won but that was easily the best Oliveira I've seen to date in the opening minutes.

IF RDA really thought this was gonna be a murdering, why would he withdraw for just a foot?

Unless its broken and he cant walk on it..... is he simply nervous, or more nefarious, is he trying to rob CM the chance at history?

    Thoughts Tine?

Conor McGregor: 5 possible opponents for UFC 196 after Rafael dos Anjos pulls out with broken foot
    15:10, 23 FEB 2016 UPDATED 15:54, 23 FEB 2016
    BY JAMES EDWARDS
The Brazilian has been forced to withdraw from the UFC lightweight title fight next month after sustaining the injury

Following the withdrawal of Rafael Dos Anjos today, Conor McGregor could be looking for a new opponent to take on at UFC 196.

Here are a few contenders who we think could take on the Irishman at late notice.

    Donald Cerrone
If there is one man who is known to want to fight anytime, anyplace, anywhere it's Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone.

Cerrone fought just this past weekend in Pittsburgh when he defeated Alex Oliveira inside the first round with a slick triangle choke.

The feud between Cerrone and McGregor first started back in early 2015 when at a UFC press conference Cerrone took exception to McGregor's comments that the UFC lightweight division were 'stuck in the mud' and more recently McGregor's claims that he was a quitter.

Front-runner: Cerrone is the favourite to fill the void

Cerrone himself has never been short of a word or two for McGregor. Speaking back in December last year, Cerrone told Mirror Fighting that he would 'knock the f****** s*** out of McGregor'.

Just last evening UFC official Dave Sholler tweeted that he had just spoken to Cerrone and that he has asked him if he could fight in London this weekend or UFC 196.

Cerrone at this point in time looks the most likely to get the nod.

    Nate Diaz

Diaz has long been campaigning for a fight with McGregor and was even contacted by the UFC to step up to face the Dubliner in July last year when Jose Aldo pulled out of UFC 189.

He was overlooked for Chad Mendes back then but he has a good claim to fill the spot of Dos Anjos this time around given he stays in shape all year round and currently doesn't have a fight booked.

Diaz last December went on a verbal tirade at McGregor after beating Michael Johnson at UFC on Fox 17 .

"If people want to see a real fight, they know who to call," he said.

"I'll train hard and ninja his a** up. Ninja real s***, not no funny fake 'let's fight, but let's be good friends, it's a sport' -f*** that, f*** the sport. This is fight s***. This is ninja s***. That's what people want to see."

If it's not Cerrone, the UFC could well be looking at Diaz to flll in for Dos Anjos.

    Anthony Pettis

Despite Pettis being on a two-fight losing streak a fight with McGregor is something that UFC fans around the world have been clamouring for.

Pettis' flashy standup style and McGregor's ninja-like striking is a recipe that many believe would yield a highly exciting, highlight reel fight.

He is currently booked to meet Edson Barboza at UFC 197 but there is the possibility that the UFC could ask him to cut his preparations a month short and fill in for Dos Anjos at short notice.

Pettis isn't as likely as Diaz or Cerrone but it is an option.

    Tony Ferguson

Ferguson is currently booked in a fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC on Fox 19 in April but he is another looking to get a fight as soon as possible due to his wife expecting a child shortly.

He has been outspoken about McGregor previously and has often said he wants to fight the Irishman.

Ferguson told us in December: "Right now, I honestly don't think that Conor is in my league in terms of what we've got going on. My plans are different and I'm on a different timeline.

"Like I said, if he wants to stay at 155 I will take whatever he wants to do. That would be a great fight. He has some great talent and, with my skills and his skills, it would make for a super fight."

Ferguson has an outside chance of staking his claim for McGregor.

    Frankie Edgar

McGregor taking on Edgar has been a fight talked about for a long time however, Ariel Helwani today confirmed he has spoken to his management and that Edgar was currently injured.

This will be a bitter blow for the New Jersey native who has long been after a fight with McGregor.

Or... he could not fight at all
Would McGregor really decide not to fight and save himself for UFC 200? Previous evidence suggests he wouldn't do this but there is always the chance the UFC could try force his hand.

    Our conclusion?
Saddle up and get ready for McGregor vs Cerrone!
