Small rant here, and maybe its just me, but for the first time in ages, I went to Youtube to look up a music video, and couldnt find it.
The reason I couldnt find it is that there were about 20 "Reaction" videos that were essentially posing as the actual video. Who in the fuck decided to let this shit fly? I tried another video and saw 5 reaction videos for that one too.
There are a dangerous amount of narcissistic fucknuts out there who really think people care about their thoughts.

That the person who was commenting on the video that didn't post a link to the original is bad SEO. They won't last long because their shit is broke.
It's odd that they're showing up in search. Their goal is actually to show up in the recommendation sidebar to piggyback off the popularity of the original video. About 4 years ago there was a plague of "reply girls" that figured this out. Most of these were 30 seconds of broken english by an eastern european that obviously didn't even watch or understand the original video. Everyone hated these videos, but people still clicked on them because boobs. Click through rates were a big factor in sidebar ranking, so any new video with 1 million+ views would have a full sidebar of tit thumbnails.
This actually happened to me by accident with Messageboard Grinder. The thumbnail has a cute girl with huge boobs, and at some point it started showing up in the sidebar for machinery and home improvement videos. I guess because it has the word grinder in it. Views trickled in slowly at first, but as more people clicked, it started showing up alongside more and more videos. It quickly snowballed, and one point was getting 40,000 views per day.
Then algorithm changes happened and all the reply girls disappeared. I think adding weight to likes/dislikes for ranking was the killing blow, as most of the reply girl videos had tons of dislikes.
Today, the new spin on it is reaction commentary. Unlike reply girls, there is actually a receptive audience for some of these attention whores, so dislikes aren't as much of an issue. Just like the reply girls, these videos can be quickly churned out with little effort. h3h3productions is an exception, one that I'll admit to enjoying, as they put some effort into editing and creating some original content.
I haven't noticed too much SEO wonkiness with reaction videos like there was in 2012, so maybe this is just an outlier with the particular video you searched for. YouTube is usually decent at delivering relevant results.

There is a new algo hack that has to do with google hangouts that might be being employed. I don't really have a way to check that, other than to see what is trending and what obviously shouldn't be. 'Smoking kills more people than Obama' poster appears in Moscow
A Moscow advert declaring that “smoking kills more people than Obama” has gone viral, becoming the latest in a string of actions condemning the US president as a mass killer.
Dmitry Gudkov, the sole liberal opposition MP in Russia’s parliament, on Tuesday posted a photograph of the large poster, which was in a metal-and-glass frame at a bus shelter on Moscow’s third ring road.
“Smoking kills more people than Obama, although he kills lots and lots of people,” the poster read, showing an illustration of the president smoking the last dregs of a cigarette. “Don’t smoke, don’t be like Obama.”
Gudkov wrote that it was “disgusting and embarrassing that this is appearing on the streets of the Russian capital.” His Facebook post had received more than 1,300 likes, hundreds of positive and negative comments and extensive Russian media coverage.
“Soon they’ll be scaring kids with Obama rather than Baba Yaga,” the witch from Russian folk tales, Gudkov later told the Guardian.
The advert has no attribution, no author has come forward to claim it and Moscow city hall has not commented.
Some have taken the anti-Obama ad as a reference to a “Stop Obama!” video posted last week that showed dozens of Russian students falling to the floor as if dead, revealing a lone girl with a sign claiming that the “president of the United States kills 875 people every week”.
The call was posted the day after in which students at universities around Russia declared that Obama should be “punished for thousands of lost lives”.
The videos, which have each received more than 500,000 views, were uploaded on brand new YouTube accounts, but one of the speakers in the UN appeal has been identified as the editor of a publication put out by the ruling United Russia party’s youth wing.
In January, a banner replacing the word “hope” in Barack Obama’s iconic 2008 election poster with “killer” was hung from a residential building across from the US embassy in Moscow. In early, February a video was broadcast on the sides of buildings in Moscow calling for Obama to be judged by a Hague war crimes tribunal.
In December, Cossacks in the Krasnodar region burnt crude effigies of Obama and Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as they chanted “Russia!” and “Putin!”
Obama said in 2013 that he had not smoked for six years.
