This guy basically bankrolled every cool-ass movie made in the 80's. Anything that Canon, Carolco and DeLaurentis put out, Frans Afman had his finger in. If you want to know how movies go from idea to greenlight, you will be enlightened. A moving piece shot by his daughter, who also interviews tons of luminaries to get a first person perspective of this guy who changed how films got financed. **** (4 Stars)
