I have an inside scoop, from the bottom of my tv, which has a scrolling bar that pops up, during ESPN broadcasts, that also gave me a tip that they fired him.
shhh
Crazy...why fire the guy who, after getting full front office control, dismantled the two 10-6 teams like a kid playing Madden and turned it into a 6-9 team. Go figure.
seriously though, I got the scroll, looked here, and you had already typed it up, so your sources are better than my tv.
Meh... A buddy of mine who's tight with a certain starting linebacker texted it to me about 15 minutes ago. Didn't think it would hit this fast. NFL.com has it up, but that's it so far. Post and story posted within 1 minute of each other. I tried

Dumb ass fuck cracker deserves to be unemployed
Breaking news: Jsearles has anger issues.
His tenure will definitely go down as the worst debacle in Philadelphia sports history.
Completely dismantled the team and left it for dead. When everyone was saying "WTF is this guy doing?" he had this attitude like "TRUST ME, I KNOW WTF I'M DOING, NERDS!!!!"...
Turns out he didn't know WTF he was doing, or he had some secret agenda to completely fuck the Eagles and collect a paycheck for years to come.
There's also the situation where if they win this week vs the Giants they drop from the 6th pick in the 2016 draft to the 12-16th pick. He was saying he was going to do everything he could to win this week since "we owe it to the fans to give them one more win for this season". I have no doubt he would have played every starter and tried to win.
Fuck that smug prick.
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
I've always liked Lurie. He's a great owner who doesn't meddle and just wants to win. He was duped though.
they asked him to give up player control and he told them to pound sand and got fired...
how much are USC, Miami, etc. kicking themselves right now? they would have backed up the truck to hire him...
my guess he gets 4-5 years at $5-6M per to coach somewhere like texas in '17...smart move by chip...he knows he can get a truckload from college...
interesting take...you think the NFL takes another shot on him?
never thought about that considering how epic of a fail this year was, but guess if you keep the player control to a minimum it would probably be worth a shot...the eagles weren't bad when somebody else was shopping for the groceries...
plus with the mariotta angle that would make a lot of sense for tennessee...
