Doctors have always identified high risk as homosexuals, IV drug users and the partners who sleep with them. That last group has grown exponentially lately because there is a massive amount of suburban heroin user walking around that you would never guess are high risk sex partners. Almost every arrest I see locally, it's an attractive white girl pulled over with a needle kit, and just from appearances, you or I would have slept with these girls when we were young and never known. And while they aren't neccasarily sex workers, they might as well be, because fucking heroin dealers and other heroin users introduces everything into the mix.
Even at a 1:2500 chance of heterosexual transmission, there's going to be a ton soon. Plus, 25% of the general population has genital herpes. That number is somewhere between 40-55% for single women over 35. That raises the chance of heterosexual transmission substantially. If I was a computer guy, starting a competitor to Poz singles and other std-related sites is probably smart money, because it's coming.
