He is a mix of pitbull and I think boxer. He is extremely friendly, yet very protective of my two sons. He goes everywhere with them, and at night he man's his post outside of their bedroom.
He was a rescue from an animal shelter down in Louisana. Couple other pics: The 2nd is him keeping an eye on the kids as they were getting something from the ice cream man. (Wrestlemania Bar obv.)

border collie, a blue mearle...the smartest dog/breed i have owned
towards the end of marriage the ex said to me
''fluffer, our marriage is over if you get another border collie ...only dog i can live with is a lap dog''
two days later i had him shipped from interstate
*giggling*
I got a dog when I was 6 years old and had to put her to sleep when I was 27... can't have a dog again after that experience, she was with me every day... When I moved out on my own she was my room mate for years and traveled with me...
Not many things in life are as painful as having to put your childhood dog down...
Her name was Bandette and she looked just like this...

If I wasn't an idiot and could resize pics this wouldn't even be a contest, real talk.
My dog is a fucking beast. Pure bred 90lb ripped to shreds brindle pit from one of the best breeders in the country. Champion bloodline. Cost my ex a small fortune but he is laying here next to me bwahaha....
My dog was a Siberian Husky... No one ever heard of a dog like her living that long... I fed her whatever I ate, she never ate dog food, never got sick or needed to go to the vet... I took her every once in awhile, but I never had to take her for illness... She loved cheeseburgers and rice... She never bit anyone. she snapped at a few people who acted aggressively toward me, and I'm pretty certain she would have murdered anyone who ever tried to hurt me. She maybe shit in the house a dozen times lifetime, and I never did any type of training with her.
I was a kid, I pretty much did everything your not suppose to do with a dog and she lived to be 21, she wasn't even blind or sick when I put her down, she probably would have lived 5 more years but she was just in terrible pain walking and it was sad to watch... I can't even think about my childhood without getting a little choked up over it... My parents paid 5 bucks for her in the 80's and gave her to me for my 6th birthday...
My daughter keeps telling me she wants a little dog but I can't bring myself to do it, because I know the outcome.
This is Rocky, he was my lab growing up. Pic is from around 1987. I need to write a book about him because he probably led one of the most interesting lives of any dog I know of. The stories about this dog are endless, and I was extremely blessed to have such an amazing animal in my life. I've had a lot of animals in my time, and all of them were awesome in their own way as I'm sure all of yours are as well, Rocky was just on another level to me and led a life that most dogs can only dream of...
He is also the reason I can't watch Marley and Me without crying like baby.
