First off, the match was only for $50. Given garrett's long tenure on this forum (even in the face of constant abuse), it's hard for me to believe that he was really planning to freeroll adamantium for a whopping $50 and risk a permaban for it.
He also knew this was an escrowed match, and that such a plan was unlikely to work.
I honestly think he was so gung-ho to play adamantium and show off his great poker skills that he didn't want to delay the match until the DFS site sent him the money he needed on Paypal. That's not an excuse, and I'm not going to pay garrett for his win. The money had to be escrowed beforehand, it wasn't, and therefore garrett was disqualified from winning. I will either send the $50 back to adamantium, or I can use it for a purpose of his choice.
Regarding the $63 received from garrett, I only mentioned that so people know that I am holding $63 of his for future matches. So if garrett wants to challenge anyone here for $63, he can, as I am already holding that money and will send it to the winner.
If I truly felt garrett was trying to scam/freeroll people here, I would ban him. However, I am seeing someone who just made an idiotic decision to play before escrowing because he was too eager to show off, and was afraid to admit that he was having a hard time getting $50 online to send me.
