I went with some friends to see The Flaming Lips. It was the greatest show I ever saw. We'd been planning the trip for a couple of months & I just couldn't wait to get it on. It was April 17th. It was Thursday night. It was raining just a little but we didn't mind. We had some drinks in the bar at the Haywood park
Sent walking Jason on a beer run, 'cause it was getting dark. Then we checked into our rooms and started eating mushrooms.

Jessica and Elle dropped by. We got directions to the club from the man at the door & we rode down through the streets Charlotte people on tour

Standing in a little line when we realized Mark had been taken too much, taken way too much...And later that night while the band played I held the girl that I love in my arms & most of my friends and we all took turns holding Mark

The part that gets me is that if he learned this off the tv, he should be doing it from the opposite side when he turns around and faces the camera.

It's odd how heroin can so adversely affect Scotts performance, yet other times it makes the performer.

Some yrs ago CroweDids and myself stood by as we watched Scott be led off the STP tour bus, literally being handheld and walked into the venue. We suddenly did not have high hopes for the show, as the man was in the state seen above. But when the curtain rose bout an hour later SW was ON. He was ON heroin, and he was on point. Tremendously energetic performance. Memorable, really.

I got to see STP at the Crawfish Boil in Birmingham back in 2011 when he was supposedly clean for a while. He put on one of the best performances I have ever seen live. He reminds me of how they said that on any given night in the 90's that Axl Rose could either start a riot or put on the best show in the history of rock.

Years ago I had an idea about making fake videos designed to go viral. Like tossing a baby out of a window, someone on the ground catching it, then throwing it back up.

I never went through with it for various reasons, one of them being that people would know that it's obviously digital trickery.
