Things are slow so...
If you're into the cult of BrBa BCS you might enjoy this podcast.

Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould, who also wrote for Breaking Bad and Jonathan Banks are interviewed. Peter Gould also created the Mike Ehrmantraut character.
Gould identifies the exact moment and why the character Mike Erhmantraut was created.
Gould and why they stuck the most bad ass guy in a ticket booth.
There is something about listening to the dialogue with strictly audio that gives you even more appreciation for Jonathon Banks' performance. 22:00 is tremendous.
I love getting into the head of writers (especially songwriters) so I enjoyed this podcast.
Anybody, heard anything similar podcast about either show please post it.
A lawyer guy on another board told me the Latin on the ASU t-Shirt he wears translates to "find a way or cheat"
i didnt enjoy tonights episode. it was amazing as always but they broadcast the whole thing between chuck and jimmy for like half the season and it was far too drawn out. that said i understand it was necessary.

I understand you are multi tabling tonight, but.....
I didn't enjoy tonight's episode but it was amazing?
I think you are trying to spark a civil war here. As you lead this attack you might look behind you and find yourself alone.
I don't need a gun. I'll just take yours.
It's 4am and you've left me a little depressed.
if she made a big deal out of it for 4 episodes then made me wait 45 minutes for her to put on her lipstick before she got started, yeah id call a spade a spade.
what is it with you people that everyone has to enjoy what you enjoy or else you spaz out?
i emphatically dont like story lines like tonight. period. i dont like them on this show or any other. even if it wasnt broadcast in letters ten miles high that his brother was going to stab him in the back, which it was, i still wouldnt have enjoyed it. it makes me sad. he deserved not to get stabbed in the back. i didnt like to watch that happen. it wasnt enjoyable.
the fact that i can still respect the show without sucking its dick off and fucking it back on in front of an internet audience seems to bother you. maybe we should tuck into that.

Aside from the fact that nearly everyone is enjoying this... what exactly is troubling you 'tine.
I will offer the obvious observation that the characters and their circumstances are defined in the end.
The writers can't go off half cocked experimenting with character development and story lines like BrBa. We know the endgame. That can't change obv.
The Mike character was an accident in BrBa resulting from Odinkirk not beig able to get to the set to do a scene. Mike popped and the writers went nuts. This sort of thing can't happen with BCS. They cannot invent a new character that might supersede the existing lineup.
The prequel is an interesting writing exercise. The acting, the way the show is shot visually, the pacing and fuck yes, the writing is superb.
If your dissatisfaction is genuine and not just contrarian I have to guess it has more to do with your projecting your expectations rather than sitting back and enjoying the show for the art that it is - on its own merits.
Go forth and blaspheme no more. YOU WILL ATONE!
I didn't catch onto Chuck dicking Jimmy over all this time, because I got high.
I should have known Slippin' Jimmy was boned, but I got high.
I didn't see it coming from a mile away and I know why.
Why man?
Because I got high, because I got high, because I got high...
Holy SHIT, this episode REALLY fucking hit it on the head and made a home run! A-freakin-mazing! BCS is GOD
That being said, I really didn't enjoy it though...
Better luck next week
Is Chuck more like sparten or RegGaymer?
Like this is exactly what bothered me:
I dont buy for a second that Chuck would not have sat down Jimmie a long time ago and said "look, this is a top law firm, you have a toy diploma. Im here for you, but you have a lot to prove before you get a seat at this table." There is no universe where Chuck doesnt have that conversation with Jimmie. And when I discussed it with a lawyer friend today, they said that had bothered them from the second Jimmie showed up with his diploma. By the time you get a law degree, even a borderline fake one, you know youre not going to be batting with the big boys, for all the reasons Chuck outlined in his lecture to Jimmie last night.
I get that for the purposes of dramatic narrative, that couldnt happen. But it took me out of the moment watching it play out, nerds.
