I don't know, but if you look at the jagged edges of rocky mountain terrain you can estimate that this happened over a relatively short period of time, like a few thousand years rather than millions or even billions of years that is claimed in some scientific circles. If the earth was that old then the land scape would have evened out and would be much more even and smoother instead of jagged.

thesparten talks about conspiracy theories whereas I talk about conspiracy facts. I don't mind him because even though he's way off base on some of these subjects he's on the right path. Humans are primates. That is a very broad classification that covers a lot of different animals. It's one degree removed from mammal.

People get very confused about human evolution and think it's supposed to mean that we evolved from chimpanzees or gorillas. They ask questions like "If we evolved from monkeys, then why are the monkeys still here?". Of course we didn't evolve from monkeys. The idea is that we share a common ancestor and branched off.

IIRC neanderthals are not part of the human evolution chain so I'm not sure what your point is with that. Same deal as why humans and gorillas coexist?
