Looks like he got 8 yrs in Nevada, 9 yrs in Arizona..and surprise surprise the good ol boys down south in Louisiana gave him 20 YEARS. I'm telling you they do not fuck around in the south, they love locking n-words up for life.

Still they say it is a "global plea deal" all ran concurrently. What??

But he only has to serve half of that right? So he'll be out in 9 yrs (he's been in for 1 already)

Darren Sharper just pled no contest to 2 rapes and 4 druggings in California, and he'll only have to serve 9 years ... and now we know Sharper will be a free man again in March 2024. L.A. County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor sentenced Sharper to 20 years in prison, but he'll only have to serve half that. He gets credit for 2 years because he's been behind bars for a solid year already, so the actual remaining time behind bars is 9 years.
Earlier Monday Sharper pled guilty to sexual assault in Arizona and was sentenced to 9 years, which runs concurrently with California.
TMZ Sports broke the story Sharper will get a maximum of 8 years in Nevada under a deal where he pleads guilty to attempted sexual assault on 2 girls. The Nevada sentence is also concurrent with Arizona and California.
The only missing piece of the puzzle is Louisiana, where Sharper will plead guilty Tuesday to 3 rapes. That deal will be announced tomorrow, but Judge Pastor said in court the total sentence for all cases will be 9 years. That means the Louisiana sentence will also run concurrently.
Short story ... Sharper's legal team seems to have worked a miracle. He could have gotten 2 life sentences in Nevada alone. On top of that, people convicted of rape typically do 85% or more of their sentence, and he's doing only 50%.
Judge Pastor said Sharper will do his 9 years in a federal facility.
Sharper will be placed on parole for 3 years after he's released, and will then be on probation for the rest of his life.
He'll also be required to register as a sex offender

Just another instance in our society when a person with money gets a lenient sentence. There is no way that some meth head from Alabama does what Sharper did and he gets 9 years (with the chance to get out earlier). Hell in some of these cases the maximum penalty was LIFE! How do you plead guilty, admit that you raped multiple women over multiple locations and times, and get off on a sentence like that? Also why are the sentences running concurrently? The answer to all those questions is high priced lawyers

There are a bunch of other things to consider.

Think of all the money it saves not having to take all these cases to trial.

What if the women didn't want to testify either because they don't want their name in the spotlight or they got paid off.

What if he gets off the first case or two and leveraged that to get off all the others because his lawyers were able to argue that this is just a money grab by ladies and didn't happen.

Pleas happen all the time. You know how many people facing 5-15 walk out with probation every day in this country?

I am guessing since it is Federal and a plea they will make it so the nine years is a mandatory minimum as well as the sentence.

Unfortunately rape is not given proper sentences someone should shoot em dead when they get released. Case in point someone I know recently just got 3 years plea bargain so child didn't have to testify in court that she was a abused sexually since 5 years old. Anal vaginal and oral. she is now 13. Cocksucker didn't even get the sentence she endured. Fucker better get snuffed while he is there. If that was my kid he would have already been dead.
