I just saw netflix loaded a bunch of 30/30's.
They have one on the forming of the Big East that was just great.
Anyone that remembers Big Monday will love it. Patrick Ewing was my 1st favorite college basketball player, and G-town was my team.
College hoops will never be the same, Sleepy Floyd was a SR, & they lost to a UNC team w/Jordan, Worthy and Sam Perkins, in the finals.
Big East had 3 of the final 4 teams in 1985.

There is one on NC State/Jim Valvano, if you made a movie w/all those comebacks it wouldn't sell, no one would believe it.

Forgot the exact name but it was on cable.. The chosan river.. It was about the Korean war..my uncle Jim. fought on that river..he got there a Sargent and got 3 battlefield promotions left a topper..I asked him about the promotions and he just calmly said "there was no one left" that's why he got it..when I would ask him about medals he would once again calmly say, your looking at them, IM ALIVE.. I found his medals in the draw as an older man..I asked him to wear them so I can take a picture..he replyied.. Shit don't hang well in my chest....

Two great docs, the first is about 3 friends who are obsessed at becoming Master Sommeliers which there only 197 in the world. Very engaging

The second is somewhat sobering as the popularity of Sushi is threatening the demise of the Tuna stocks, which will ultimately affect other species below it in the food chain.

I clicked on this one an it was quite informative/entertaining.


For instance the owner of this estate/castle is Charles Spencer,
Lady Diana's older brother and the he's on his third marriage to
a lovely Canadian Karen Gordon. He's one randy bugger apparently.

The House has been held by the Spencer family for some 500 years.

They are also related and quite close to the Washington's(read George)
and they basically "put them up" when they were down on their luck.(thanks bud)
