Well at least Bovada did me a favor by having a shitty line all day.
Still don't understand what they are accomplishing by making it 4.5 for BGC. If a ton of money is going on the Houston side, and they are moving the line to prevent that, why are they NOT encouraging certain players to also bet that way? Doesn't make sense to me.

Milwaukee has killed the spread this year. They've quietly gone 18-8 ATS despite only a mediocre overall record.
I almost went with them tonight but decided not to.

Weeeeeeeeee! Best part about the Bucks game (IMO) is I risked a tiny amount of money for a much larger reward.

So maybe they noticed BGC likes to fire on small road underdogs, and they decided they are going to punish him by setting the line 0.5 points worse.
Otherwise it makes no sense, as moving the line 0.5 one way has the reverse effect on the other side. Furthermore, they actually WANT his action, sharp or not, if they have disproportionate money on one side.

Well I used to take some bets and I would always bump the favorites for certain guys that would only bet favorites. It wasn't about balancing action. Druff had their standard line that is tracked on sbrodds. I'm the one with the weird one. I guess I have tinfoil hat line. I've seen it before where I was showing a different line than sbrodds but I just thought sbrodds.Com was behind. Like druff I'm not understanding it. I will post a screen shot if my nba odds tomorrow to see if their are any differences.
All I know is that after hitting a parlay for 10K last year I've gotten zero bonuses.
Generally I think they want 50 % on each side , but it never works out that way and I don't think they put overstock into making sure that happens.
I think most sportsbooks especially big ones like Bovada are making the majority of their money from degens betting parlays/ bad teases/ and chasing losses or when someone gets hot and has no control they fire till they lose. Add in this type of bettor is probably betting favorites , they juice the lines here and there and eventually this type of bettor gets clobbered.
Are you saying that they juice the favorites in general, and only un-juice them for perceived sharps?
