Golden State put 127 up on the Lakers last time they played.
I am getting more of a feel of the 2014-2015 Lakers season, and from what I have observed, they tend to have trouble scoring against defensive-specialist teams (New Orleans, San Antonio) and all other opponents tend to produce high scoring games.
The one exception to this was their game against Memphis, where like 209 points were scored.
Anyway, the last GS/LAL game produced like 235 points or something. However, I don't want the over because Kobe is looking really bad lately (1-for-14 last game), and while I don't predict he will be that bad today against a team like GS, I think the score is hard to predict between that factor and GS's tiredness.
I do think I like Miami -5 (at home) against Milwaukee.
Both last played on Friday, and both took pretty decisive losses.
Their records seem similar. Milwaukee is 4-5, and Miami is 5-4.
However, 3 of Milwaukee's 4 wins have come against weak/injured teams (OKC, Indiana, Philly). Miami has beaten Washington (7-1 against everyone else), Toronto (8-1 against everyone else), and Dallas (7-2 against everyone else).
Three of Miami's four losses came against teams above .500.
So Miami has been better than their record indicates, and Milwaukee is worse.
With Miami at home I will lay the -5. However, I haven't bet it yet as I haven't checked the Bovada lines.
Well Miami -5 is -115 on Bovada, which sucks. Somehow I am always on the wrong side of these for getting the Bovada line.
I'll wait before betting this, but if it goes to regular -5 (and the Vegas line stays there) I will fire.
