Great run until he went on the radio
When faced with a difficult decision, ask yourself "What would Micon do?", then do the opposite.

First and foremost, I want to thank all of you guys for the tweets, the texts, and the support in a relatively small not very exciting wsop tournament. It made me feel tremendously guilty considering I have been awol for so long, yet you all treat me like an equal.
Poker for me is not my life as it once was. I still play a lot but its not my primary source of income. I probably play 5-6 times a month. After the bot became unbeatable and with the comps non existent, I only play that a couple times a month and only at RR (which still gives you comps but not enough to make up for your expected loss rate)
I usually only play tournaments as a social thing with friends. As I mentioned last night on radio, the only tournament I played prior to the 0/8 was an 8 game tourney with Jeanne and Steve a week ago at the Nugget.
It would have been nice to of course final table and win yesterday but looking back, I have no regrets. I played absolutely amazing for 20 hours and its probably the first time in any tournament I have ever played, I can honestly say I would not have played anything different. I was top 3 in chips with about 30 to go and Chino Reem got moved to my table. Previously I had only played in cash games with him and never a tourney before. I had about 250k when he came to my table. The blinds were 5k-10k, wth 10-20k betting. He sat down and began playing like a maniac. Raising the first 5-6 hands he was dealt. They all went to show down and it was lol at what his range was. K874, 567J etc. Not at all hands to play yet raise in a 9 handed game, yet he was getting lucking by flopping trips, making straights with no low possible. I very easily could have waited for him to bust, which is inevitable with that style of play but I got dealt two monster hands against him. One was AA23 one suite and the other was AQ23 two suites. Both hands I had the best of it until he made trip 9's on the river and another another where he had no low possible, only a gut shot straight on the flop, yet called down and hit it on the river. Within two hands I went from top 3 in chips to crippled due to the huge blinds.
I'm not pissed in the least bit about how he played. In an hour I'm going out with some friends for sushi, which you all know Zod loves his sushi. But I will say, Chino is absolute garbage. I have always been a proponent of never getting pissed off or confronting a player on how he plays a hand, even if its totally awful. But with that said, his table demeanor is shit. His rudeness to other players, his taunting, talking down to the dealer like he/she is beneath him is all thats wrong with poker. At one point two players flipped over there hands and there was confusion as to who had the best low (it can be confusing even for me, and I've played thousands of 0/8 hands) and Chino not in the hand started yelling "Cmon lets go, lets split the fucking pot. Deal already" When the hands were still tabled and the chips were still in front of each player from previous rounds of betting. I said straight to his face "same old Chino, and you wonder why your considered Scum bag number 1 in the poker world". I ended up busting two or 3 hands later when I was all in from my big blind. He came over and shook my hand and said he was sorry, that he gets emotional. I actually think he was on some kind of drugs as he was definitely restless, fidgeting etc. I ended being the better man and shaking his hand and walking to cashout. He was top 1 or 2 in chips but as anyone at the table could have predicted, he busted out and gave all my chips away within 2 orbits.
Off to get some sushi, I will try to write more later.
Thanks everyone again for there support. I was going to play the 16 game mix today but 2 full days and 20+ hours of poker is enough. I really have respect for these full time tournament players that play 10-12 hours every day there. I mean even after Daniel finished 2nd in the One Drop, he gave his interviews and immediately entered the 10k Stud, which was being played right behind us.
Zod
One of the better WSOP trip reports Ive read.
Fuckin Chino man.
