Yeah, while I knew that other photo of hers was likely retouched (as she's a photographer), I was still surprised to see a woman like her involved with all of this, especially given her non-degenerate profession of children's photography.

After seeing that methy booking photo, it makes a lot more sense.

36/65 events are in the books.

From the results we've seen thus far, it seems clear that DN is playing well and Ivey is either running horrible or playing poorly (or both).

I don't think we are anywhere near -250 to win at this point, though.

There are still plenty of small-field events coming up, most notably the 40-or-so field One Drop. The one thing I'll say for the One Drop is that Ivey & Negreanu are better limit players than NLH players, but it's not like they're NLH fish, either. Ivey final tabled the Main a few years ago, if you remember.

Without doing any math, I estimate we are about -200 to win right now.

I have determined that there isn't, mainly because of DN's sponsorship by Pokerstars.

DN is the "face" of this bet, while Ivey seems to be quietly bankrolling most of it.

If they didn't pay people at least semi-promptly, it would cause a huge scandal that would make both of them (especially Daniel) look terrible. This, in turn, would make Pokerstars look bad. I think that Pokerstars would probably front the money to DN if this happened, and just take it off of his future compensation.

I also don't think they would have had the "open bet up to a million" offer if they didn't know they could cover it. While Ivey is down a good deal at the WSOP thus far, the amount bet on the bracelet thing dwarfs that figure.

They were actually demanding a 1-side escrow if DN didn't know/trust you, but that got waived in our case.

I'd agree any joint bet on Ivey nd Danny is probably secured against Danny's money and sponsorship, EM2's bet with Ivey might be a bit suspect though.

My bad, back on page 8 EM2 was talking about getting much better odds and KRRP (I think) said he was getting 2-1 on Ivey only.
