What are the cliff notes on Asianspa? I shouldn't care but you have piqued my curiousity. I srsly never followed this.

When he started on twitter, he used asian broken english, though he got sick of that gimmick after not so long. When he went on radio shows like DD or maybe even pfa(?), he used a voice disguiser the first few times, but he's def been on shows without it, notably the 22Q marathoncast. that part was cut out in replays at his request, iirc.

he may have been on pika's show without voice augmentation, but I honestly can't remember for sure. I always figured he couldn't be too well-known as a live player is he let his voice get out there even a few times, but who knows.

Jeff Madsen indeed #MendedFences last year, and immediately broke out to big success after many years of struggles.

This actually personally affected me, as Spa predicted semi-early in our respective events (Madsen in $3000 PLO, me in $5000 LHE) that we would win bracelets.

Madsen went on to win, and while I went into the final day with the chip lead and briefly had a small chip lead at the final table, I ultimately finished 5th. In a weird way, I felt like I ruined the destiny.
