According to the latest unconfirmed reports, at least six people were killed and seven injured in a series of Isla Vista shootings that occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Friday night. One of the suspects was also reportedly killed, and another is in custody.
One of the suspects has allegedly been identified by other students as Elliot Rodger, who posted a creepy video with his threats (below) less than 24 hours prior to the shootings, citing a rejection of girls as one of the primary reasons.
UPDATE > Elliot is believed to be the son of Hollywood Director Peter Rodger (Assistant Director of 'The Hunger Games'), and stepson of Soumaya Akaaboune (from the cast of TV show 'Les Vraies Housewives').
