I love KU but this teams guard play just isn't consistant. I took Stanford +6.5 today.

Iowa St -2
SF Austin +9
Wich St -5
Kansas might be the most over hyped team in the tournament. A lot rides on the Wiggins factor and the kid is good but I hate those "he's the next Lebron" comparisons when Wiggins isn't even close to that level yet nor likely ever will be and I say that being someone who can't stand Lebron.
With that said KU should still be able to beat these jokers from Stanford.
I love wiggins but you are right. He does some great work without the ball. He would be a great wingman for a gunner like Kobe or Carmelo at the next level.
Strange thing about KU is Conner Francamp has been their best gaurd and he didnt play much this year. He's a great shooter.
Stanford-Kansas was a fantastic game. Hope that sets the tone for the whole day.

I wonder if some of these tanking NBA teams are having 2nd thoughts on Wiggins now. That was an ugly game there.
Wiggins probably feels relieved now. This was a waste of a year of his life when the kid has known since day 1 he was going to be a top pick in the draft.
I watched every game this season the kid is a fucking baller. He will sharpen up a little in the next few months. Bill Simmons has a great feel for this stuff and he loves him. Todays performance doesn't matter.

Maybe he plays some summer ball d-league and improves but right now a team is drafting him off his upside and not that he will instantly be good.
Barkley is going off on CBS now about Parker and Wiggins saying they aren't ready and that the NBA is garbage basketball a lot of times right now that is hard to watch.

Refs pretty one sided in this Kentucky game for Kentucky. I have WS on the moneyline with Creighton which they will beat that horrible Baylor team.
Baylor plays zone so as long as Creighton doesnt shoot the 3 horribly they will win.
What a game between Wichita State and Kentucky. Game of the year so far.
I don't think I'd have taken that 3 for the final shot. Inbound it inside for a layup and OT.

You can't be serious. That game was called terribly inconsistent, but it wasn't in favor of Kentucky by any stretch. There were a ton of calls that were blatantly missed.
He is always talking about how bad the NBA is now, he bites the hand that feeds him and doesn't care.
That is part of his deal.
The guy is hilarious, though.
If you aren't looking to learn anything about College hoops, just want some laughs, he is gold in the studio.
