Malaysia Airlines plane gone AWOL

An ex-pilot explains all of the available evidence with the simple theory that there was an electrical fire and the pilot was diverting to the nearest large airport. The media has made it out like the transponder was turned off by pressing a red button on the front of it. I was shocked that it was even possible to turn off the transponder. Apparently in an electrical fire, the standard procedure is to kill the circuit breakers for everything- which makes sense. The transponder is part of that because you have to be able to deal with an electrical fire in the transponder.

In all seriousness B, they are now reporting the plane was programmed to make that hard left 12 minutes before the co pilot put in his last call to say good night.

Also the fact that they made the diversion exactly at the point of dead space between Malaysia's ATC and Vietnam's ATC is pretty damning IMO. Sure that could have been a coincidence, but you add in all the other evidence you have at this point and I think it makes it fairly obvious this was no accident.

This guy's theory is that they crashed or were knocked unconscious in between diverting and getting to that airport. The plane might have flown for 7 hours, but that was the autopilot.

Watching the last two hours about this on CNN. They just had a former pilot on discussing the fire theory and he said that A) they would have without question reported the fire on their last sign off, B) they would have been speaking through an oxygen mask if there was a fire, which would have been very obv because the mike inside of a mask has a very distinct sound, and C) the diversion was not one they would take if there was a fire, they would have gone to the nearest airport, which was no where near the diversion route.

That guy said it was the closest large airport. I would not want to land a crippled 777 on a little runway.

I'm certainly not going to bet money on the fire theory- but it passes Occam's razor better than anything else I've heard.

I watched the video and I kind of hate it.

The "structure of the airplane" is held together with electricity? I've never heard that before.

He then completely discounts that a fire could possibly move quickly. Then the big closer is "there is no evidence of a fire on board". Of course not. There is no evidence of anything happening- yet a giant plane and 240 people are missing.

Barry, forgive my ignorance, I just saw that the first map I posted was inaccurate as far as where the plane was when it made the diversion and in which direction. This is the correct location and diversion route.



This does fall in line with that airport being the largest airport within range, but still definitely not the closest.

All these 'accident" theories are coming from the same fucks that refuse to believe this was terrorism. They have been saying the same thing since the very start, and the "fire theory" is just another ridiculous scenario that makes no sense. There is one guy on CNN who keeps poo pooing every single thing that keeps pointing to a criminal act, and trying to spin it some way towards the accident scenario.

These planes are pretty much indestructible. They don't just randomly catch on fire, or have any other nightmare scenario at 35k feet just cruising along. The story a few days ago was the "lithium batteries" caught on fire, but that just like the fire nonsense that was shot down rather quickly by numerous people.

And yes, the transponders were turned off 12 min before the turn, when they set the new course.

I don't really get into conspiracy theories but I have an opinion on what happened to this fucking plane. I haven't followed this thread at all so I'm not sure what theories have been presented. At first I thought it was pilot suicide. Now I'm pretty sure it was terrorism. It was the head pilot who killed the co pilot and depressurized the plane to kill everyone on board. The plane was then flown to a country like Iran and is now being prepared for a more sinister attack.

Nobody has claimed this because the plot is only half done. I think the final attack will be in Israel. I think Obama knows about this, remember he hates the jews and is a Muslim himself. All the electronics have been disabled on this plane so an attack shouldn't be too hard.
