Daniel Negreanu returned to 2+2 yesterday, with much fanfare. Today Mason has insisted that in order for things to be smoothed over, DN must delete some posts he made on FCP a few years ago. DN says no. NVG is upset about potentially losing DN again. Shitstorm is forthcoming.

I had a good talk with Sorel at PCA and it's all water under the bridge. He was even amused at the reference to him in "Dan".

Despite some of the conflicts I've had and all the lampooning I've done in my videos, I've managed to make (or keep) very few enemies in poker.

In fact, I seem to have helped defuse the DN drama at 2+2. Sorry guys!

Asking him to remove a 2 year old thread (unless something said is libelous or something along those lines) is pretty wacky, IMO.

It seems like the vast majority of posters here want DN to post here. Bringing up past grievances seems like a great way to piss off not only him, but a ton of posters.

Deleting old threads doesn't erase the past, and asking for it suggests you're still angry about something that was said. Let it go. You don't have to like every poster on this site or everything they have said, here or elsewhere on the internet. As the site owner you can do whatever you want, but I find this recent "delete or apologize for things you've said elsewhere on the internet or else" tact pretty disturbing.

She's a mod there, so her openly speaking out against Mason was surprising (but nice) to see.

I use it as my avatar on 4 on the rare occasions I post there... and yes, I do it just to piss off Mason. And if you're wondering why mine looks a little funky, it's because I figured if Mason was insane enough to complain about in the way he did, then he might've been insane enough back then to find a way to search all such avatar images and eradicate them from his site. So I tweaked mine a little bit, and this has been my avatar ever since Lord Malmouth posted that silliness.
