1st and 3rd 1 out and miggy strikes out... that was tough.
Just saw Prince Fielder has no RBI's in 15 straight post season games.
Ouch.
You give me Verlander vs. Lackey 50 times and Verlander has the better individual winning record at the end but with the Detroit pen who knows what the final team record would be.
Both team's bats could break out tomorrow as this is the the pitching match up for it (Fister vs. Peavy)
Boston can put a strangle hold on this series tonight... Hopefully the Fister we have seen in 90% of his outings shows up tonight... I have seen 150 of the Tiger games this year and don't think one time that Cabrera and Fielder both struck out with people in scoring position.. Statiscally due or choke.... They fkn choked yesterday...
The over bet for strikeouts that BNP has been making have been brilliant. Consider the obvious & historic pitching that was occurring.
Smooth, +EV play. With roughly 17.5 strikeouts avg across all games it certainly was the trend.
I got wrapped up in homerism and ignored his posts.
I tip my cap. Nice play.

I'm tempted to bet Doug Fister under 5 strikeouts today. Even in the A's series where they struck out 57 times to Tigers pitching in the last game Fister pitched 6 innings and only struck out one batter since he's primarily a ground ball pitcher.
In Fister's two outings against the Red Sox this year he is 1-1 striking out 4 in the win and 0 in the loss where he got bounced out of the game in the 4th inning.
Yeah, it's pretty much over. Momentum in things like this is paramount. That and they snookered both of our best pitchers and gave our superstar hitter ball fright.
I guess I shoulda qualified my post to say good bets when first tier pitchers are involved.
This is a tough one. These are a couple of journeyman pitchers at this point. Can the bats get back on track? The drought has been a long one. Takes a bit to get back on track at the plate.
I think he could strike out a few before the Sox settle in.
It'll be interesting to see if Sox can run on Fister.
At this point with the Boston leading the series I would take chances running if they are there being up against Fister. The Red Sox already seen what the Big 3 pitchers from Detroit can bring and if they can get to Fister then they would only have to beat one of them guys the remainder of the series and not two while Detroit can avoid having their backs against the wall with a win which they will know they got three great starters the rest of the series out.
This game is huge tonight and I'm debating if I stay home play online or go play live poker against some fish trying to watch it while playing. Typically it would be a no brainer decision for me but the past three month I've ran amazing live on Wednesday's so I'm debating my options.
Ah, the crafty veteran.
I made a run from Boston to Seneca & Fallsview at Niagra & Turning Stone 2 weeks ago.
When the hockey was on - I guess they call it "Hockey Night in Canada" - it was like nothing I had ever witnessed before. The poker rooms get amped & loud. Classic case of people only playing when they got it or spewing cause they are just out for the camraderie.
Football on a Sunday in Foxwoods even with the Pats doesn't compare. Still focused on poker. Hockey to the Canucks is religion.
No reason you can't play and watch.
Torii Hunter leading off tonight. Hmmm
I think it's good they dropped Jackson to 8th in the lineup because he's struggling.
lew and I discussed dropping him the other night because he's just not getting the job done as the lead off man atm with playoff stats of 3 for 33 and 18 strike outs but Jackson is 9 for 28 off Peavy lifetime.
