He was trolling every single thread I was posting in, including threads that should never be trolled such as my WSOP BAP thread and the Radio Schedule Change thread. If you want to say that he should be able to troll me in the weight loss thread about my weight, I can understand that. But the guy was following me around from thread-to-thread and trying his hardest to troll and irritate me.
I don't want that here. As I said, I want this site to mostly be a free-speech environment and I don't want to be exempt from people's harsh words. At the same time, I run this site as a hobby. After all the time and effort I put into this site, I don't want to deal with some anonymous asshole intentionally hassling me in nearly every thread I'm involved. It's just not fun for me, and I don't want it.
But it actually went beyond just the trolling. The guy also refused to follow the rules here. As you know, this site doesn't have many rules. fluffer managed to break almost all of them, some repeatedly. I let him stay here for over a year, despite the fact that about 90% of my rule break warnings were to him, and the other 10% to everyone else combined. I'm not even exaggerating here. I'm just sick of it.
Finally, he wasn't just engaging in innocent, humorous ribbing. Much of it was really nasty, mean-spirited crap, and while it didn't hurt my feelings (especially because most of it wasn't true), this wasn't just a happy-go-lucky guy having fun with a few zinger one-liners. Go read his recent posts and you'll see what I'm talking about.
If your main purpose on this site is to hassle and troll me in every thread, you won't last long here.
If you can't follow the site's few simple rules, you won't last long here.
Everyone else is welcome, and as you've seen, there have been very few bans/restrictions handed out in the 14 months this site has existed.
