Actually met him and he was really cool.
I had a copy of my buddy's cd in the car and I kinda felt like a schmuck passing it off to Chi, but my buddy's band was influenced a lot by their sound and I would have felt like an asshole if I never tried to get their music in his hands.

Fell in love with the deftones the first time I saw them, at UMass opening for 311 in 95-ish. They blew the doors off the fuckin' place.
Today sucks, but once again, Deftones gonna help make me feel better. RIP Chi.
