I heard Greg Raymer did a Q&A over on FTR forum the other day BUT he states his lawyers advised him not to discuss his arrest so he just apologizes to his family,etc...

Greg starts talking on page 2.
It'd be interesting to know which "major hotel" (reportedly with no history of prostitution problems) invited police onto their premises to perform these sting operations.... Any intel?
I took the address from the police report, 12050 RETAIL DR, WAKE FOREST
Candlewood suites, looks like a big chain w/holiday inn and crowne plaza.

It would be LOL if it wasn't the police that lured him there but they got a tip that he was in a room banging a prostitute and then they kick open the door mid fuck and say "Your under arrest Fossilman" and go on reading him his rights.
He seems like a good guy. I've always thought when watching his poker videos, he makes the game seem so simple.
He is and always was for freedom. I know I saw him saying like not only pot, but drugs like coke (and I want to say he said heroin, but that might be too much), should be legal, because just like he doesn't want the government in his house (poker) he wants the same for other arenas. I'm assuming this includes 2 consenting adults in a hotel rooms.
This was in response to someone asking him what he drinks.
GR-"I'm allergic to alcohol, so I've never had more than a sip, and hated everything I ever tried. Also not a fan of any recreational drugs. If you're an adult, do whatever you want, but I prefer to not indulge. Enjoy the ale!"
That's how most Liberal's believe in regards to drugs and a lot of other things the government gets involved with. It's not that they want to use drugs themselves but don't feel it's the governments place to get involved. They feel if dangerous street drugs were legal don't mean a whole lot more people will go out and abuse them and those that do want the drugs will find ways to get them which I agree with.
I don't mind Greg and feel prostitution should be legal anyways but I just think the whole story is funny.
I think it is hilarious,
The fact that we thought it was a male prostitute at first, made this such a big story, that now that we know it wasn't, it truly is a non story. Much smaller than if it started out as a heterosexual sting.
Except for Carolina's archaic laws, I want to see how this ends, I bet he get probation and we never get any details.
Good for him, hes really a good guy. These cops set up entrapment "stings" all the time, and seemingly get away with it.
He didn't deserve it, and had it of not happened in the evangelical right-wing State of N.C, this wouldn't have happened.
That's got to be a top 10 worst place to pickup a craigslist hooker.
"Birds born in a cage think flying is an illness." - Alejandro Jodorowsky
"America is not so much a nightmare as a non-dream. The American non-dream is precisely a move to wipe the dream out of existence. The dream is a spontaneous happening and therefore dangerous to a control system set up by the non-dreamers." -- William S. Burroughs
So I guess the moral of this story is, if you are planning on picking up a Backpage hooker, check TER and make sure she has a history. Of course, I guess finding an actual hooker who gets around a lot will increases your chances of genital warts, but all in all probably still the best route.
It says Raymer had to do 75 hours of community service to get his name cleared. I wonder if this community service could include banging his own wife:
