408 got me exactly the same way back in Feb 2011. I won a DD tourney, and got a stake offer shortly after. Next thing I knew I had creditors calling me from the Bay Area, had weird open accounts on my credit report where I had a judgement filed from an extended stay motel in Northern California, and every time I Googled my name I was mentioned as a sexual predator.

About the only good thing to come from it is I get a couple of these bad boys in my e-mail every week. Small solace, but good deals.

So I figured I would make it fun, since apparently something really sketchy is going around here..

Little back story. So a few days ago when I joined this site, I got a very random email from a staking site called "Geta$take", it was an application asking for all my real info, but really found it odd because, I haven't played online poker in years. I did recognize the site name. So this was very random. I fill out the crap see what happens, use the name i used here bizzerk, and thinking in full trust this is something sensitive I am filling out (LOL) I included my real name when asked.

Fast forward to today. I get an email/PM from some BUBBLES, who says "you rolled on some sites didn't you", I was like what. Very random, but I remembered the Geta$take application, somehow these people who wanted to figure me out, got my email in their database the same time I joined this site. Then sent me a "Geta$take" application asking my real name and all my previous info. To do this very thing obviously. Just mining for dirt. Con-artist Geta$stake if you would have just asked me whoever is behind this, which at this point I have to believe it is bubbles, i would of told you. Wasn't a need to do some overly shady underhanded angle shoot to get me too fill out my real info.

Well, bubbles just links me too that application interestingly. I am now thinking huh, so now it all makes sense. Somehow this whole entire Geta$take application and everything came from here.

It is also nicely linked with like everything they could find, I will forewarn you I have made mistake sin life, I am not perfect, but they arent very big, read away make you're own conclusions. Unfortunately this is where the excitement ends. These sites vilified me then, but I am particularly mad that now this group here did this. Why, the timing is so off. I didn't find them, they found me. They contacted me, they emailed me.

Obviously just to get my real name and my real information, then the trash and post it all up nice and neat on the internet. So google searches will cue it. Total low blow.

The excitement is over, this is all that exists. What was really dirty is how this site Geta$take even got my info in the first place from here.

So that is the dirt, that is all their is after, but you have it all now. You want to ban me go ahead, I wasn't here for any of that. Obviously a few paranoid schizophrenics here so I will help them sleep easy tonight ban me if you choose.

Seems to me we should be able to clear at least a little bit of this mess up if you do that.

The email from getastake is the shakiest part of this entire story, so an examination of it should go a decent way to figuring out the truth here.

Seems to me we should be able to clear at least a little bit of this mess up if you do that.

I have enough stuff I knew was there. Had this happened to many other people, maybe to them it would of been more funny. To me its more clicks on the sites blackmailing me to have my mugshots off the internet. On top of that it created this whole b.s to start off with. Starting with winning that freeroll.

Garrett you seem like a nice enough guy, your story stinks to high heaven not on you but yet again some very questionable behavour brought on by a or some members here. You mistakenly gave your info to a site with les than honerable intentions as far as I can tell.
Bubbles name keeps coming up and who else do you feel is involved, it's easy to say "I randomly came across your info" but this is to random for me to believe.
I wold suggest leaving and hope there is no identy theft forthcoming, but think there should be some kind of investigation as to what happen here, how did this outfit initally get your email? For start.
