Apple Outrage Thread ***OFFICIAL***

There are a lot of things about Apple that piss me off - most have them have to do with iTunes, which I absolutely HATE.

This rant will be about how fucking hard Apple makes it to add a custom ring tone to your iPhone.

Are you fucking kidding me? Ok so you get the awesome song clip you want, or whatever. You load it into the detestable iTunes library. Now the real fun begins.

1. In iTunes, right-click the song or sound clip
2. Open "Get Info"
3. Select "Options"
4. Enter the Start Time and End Time (must be under 30 seconds - gay)
5. Click Ok
6. With the song or clip selected, use drop down and select "Create AAC Version"
iTunes will create another track right below the original
7. Go back to Options of the Original and unclick the Start Time and End Time (are you fucking kidding me?)
8. Go to the Actual Physical Location of that new track (Should be iTunes Media Folder)
9. Select the extension - it will be M4A - CHANGE it to M4R (I hate you Apple- this is ridiculous)
10. Drag the new M4R into iTunes. But WAIT. You can't Not until you DELETE BOTH THE ORIGINAL MP3 and the new aac FILES FROM ITUNES. But wait. You still can't Not until you SHOW SIDEBAR in iTunes. Fuck you, Apple.
18. (or whatever) Go to the Tones Section, and the new file will be there as a ringtone
19. Be sure the Tones are selected (box checked) to sync.
20. Sync up your iPhone
21-25 On your phone, add the tone as your new ring tone.

The US is the only country where people like Apple over Android.

I hate Itunes with a passion. My library got so messed up that I never bothered to change the albums I loaded onto my old Ipad. It would take two minutes just to load Itunes, a few minutes to delete albums, and forget about syncing....horrible.

I can download a torrent, drag and drop onto my phone, save the files to an external drive so I always have the music, and Im good to go.

My son is on his 3rd Iphone 5 in two weeks. Pixels keep going out.

cant u do this with Itunes? I just drag shit over all the time and mix and match whatever, just have to click manually manage music

All but on of the computers in my house are apple and never had issues with any of them, never a virus or program problems same with the 3 phones we have never a issue till my wife droped hers on the cement and they replaced it NO CHARGE. I am however bummed to hear a bad review of the iphone 5 as i was just about to exchange my 3 year old 3gs for one.

I do not know why anyone would ever want to own an apple product. Overpriced pieces of garbage. I can't believe a tech savvy Jew like Druff actually is a fan of apple products. If it were possible, an Android would give you tomatoes on the side. Apple would not only refuse to give you tomatoes on the side but they would actually charge you extra just for asking the question. Samsung S4 is unveiled on Thursday - it is going to make the entire apple product line extinct.

Hell yeah, I have an app that lets me create ringtones out of any mp3 file, my current ringtone is Meshuggah for calls and I cycle through various Mario sound effects for txt messages although my favorite is the oneup sound. It's like three fucking steps. Overpriced apple shit is for the birds.

I've been on the fence about getting a nexus or galaxy iv and I think i've settled on the galaxy (due out in a couple weeks)

sorry you don't like your phone, but that's how it goes sometimes.
