It's pretty simple. There are 32 professional American Football teams in the entire world. It just so happens that all 32 are in the United States. Hence the winning team is world champion.

If any other country ever decides to field professional American Football teams, then this argument will make some sense.

I do agree that it's kind of silly when MLB and NBA teams declare themselves world champions, because many countries do field teams at the professional level in baseball and basketball.

In the UK its been a running joke for as long as I can remember about American sports, mainly Baseball and American football declaring themselves world champions in a competition that only hosts American teams.

The NFL is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of their nationality. The fact that none of you homos have what it takes to make an NFL team doesn't change the fact that the NFL is open to anyone in the world, hence the term World Champions. The fact that the games are actually held in America is irrelevant. You guys are just too busy playing soccer like a bunch of 3rd world nignogs.

It's a tiny minority sport outside of the US, though not from the want of trying from your powers that be.

Was just on in the background sort of thing. Anyway the landlord decides to change channels and puts on a rerun of the Super bowl. This almost courses a fucking riot! But order was soon restored when he soon put the REAL football game back on. Warmed the cockles heart seeing that reaction.


I was also at the England v USA game in South Africa back in 2010 and the Americans actually outnumbered us in travelling support. Many thousands made the journey, was really good to see. Met and drank with some top blokes who really knew their shit.
