Joe Webb is an athletic freak. RG3-like, maybe not quite as fast. He started a couple games in 2010 and did ok, 1 last year and ran wildcat stuff also. Vikes ditched the wildcat this season so he didn't have any reps this year.
Plus, it's not like he's replacing Brady or something....

wow that was hard to watch. It's like Webb took the worst of Tarvaris Jackson (10 yard overthrows) and combined them with the worst of McNabb (ground ball passes). He only threw 1 pick, probably would have thrown more if he was more accurate....le sigh.

Everyone loves Seattle today, but lets break it down a little bit. Seattle is awful on the road. They are lucky to be in the playoffs, and I dont just mean the fail mary. They played a neutral game vs Buffalo, but it was a road game for them which means they got 8 actual home games and Buffalo only got 7. If you reverse that and the Fail Mary doesnt happen Seattle would probably not even be in the playoffs.
Then Im looking at the stats thinking Seattle has a huge edge on d, but they actually give up more yards rushing per game then Wash. Wash is worse vs the pass but Seattle only averages 189 yards passing a game.
Wash has won 7 straight and covered every one, and the lines in every game were between -4.5/+4. That means the oddsmakers arent respecting them. Seattle has also been really hot lately but I think Seattle should be a 3 point favorite on a neutral field not in Wash. This game should be a pick em.
I'll be cheering for Seattle because I think they matchup better against ATL, but I think Wash wins this game 20-17
Tony Dungy scared me a little pregame. He talked about how good Webb is and because of Webb he picked them to win. I knew they couldnt win with Ponder, but Dungy being good friends with Frasier had some inside info on Webb. Great call Dungy Webb is a superstar.
