Even this asshole thinks the shooting was bullshit:
https://twitter.com/g0dfr0y/status/2009460388241539544
Can you at least admit she was there to agitate, interfere, and make a viral video?
And you’re right, the shooting was bullshit. She should still be alive.
And she would be, if people stopped thinking it’s their right to intentionally impede law enforcement.
She inserted herself into a dangerous situation, thought “the law” backed her up, and then a misunderstanding occurred and she was shot.
That’s why you stand back and don’t interfere in shit like this, even if you disagree.
ICE should not be there. ICE has no business trying to detain US citizens. She has a right to be there. She has a right to observe and film ICE. Ross shot her because he was angry. But none of that matters, not my opinion, not yours. They will not read this thread at the trial. What should bother everyone is Trump and Vance and Kash friggin Patel and this corrupt shitshow of a government we have. What should bother everyone is that they want to dictate to all of us what the truth is and control the prosecution to make sure he gets away with it, regardless of whether the law, if applied fairly, would find him guilty.
ETA: Vance in particular, callously lying and smearing Renee Good without pause is bothersome.
She wasn't there to "observe". Observers do not park their car perpendicular to a major road, and block one direction, snarling traffic.
If she was really just observing, she and her wife could have parked normally on the curb, gotten out of the car, and both walked around with their phone cameras.
Had she been attacked for doing just that, I'd have been 100% on her side, even if she didn't suffer any kind of real injury.
Why are you ignoring all of the evidence that has come out since this incident:
- She was extremely active in left-wing activism.
- She had a premeditated plan where she would park her car to block the road during an ICE raid, but drop her wife off 4 minutes earlier in order to get all interactions between her and ICE recorded.
- She was part of a group which specializes in harassing ICE while believing they are staying just barely away from the line where they could get arrested.
- She was among the fewer than 1% of white mothers in the US who fully lost custody of her children. Her older two children's dad have full custody of them, and the only reason she had custody of her 6-year-old was because that kid's dad died in 2023.
- She backed up and floored it because the plan was starting to backfire, and the first ICE agent was reaching into her vehicle to detain her. She likely forgot about the other agent standing at the front-left of her vehicle, thus leading to the tragedy.
You can still claim that ICE overreacted and object to the shooting. I'll even admit that part is up for debate.
But you can't call her an "observer" in good faith, nor can you claim she wasn't trying to agitate. She was literally blocking the road, honking the horn for minutes straight, and dancing in the vehicle to the sound of her own honks. How is that "observation"?
The final slant is to try and make this a toxic masculinity thing while simultaneously deifying her.
Occupy Democrats and The Other 98% are two of the worst groups on Facebook.
It's filled with self-righteous leftards who spend all day panicking about Trump.
Tons of misinformation comes out of those groups, and their followers eat it up like gospel and reshare it.
The problem with the modern left -- especially online -- is that they really see themselves as "the good guys" fighting a fascist and evil regime. None of them can stop for a second and look at the ridiculousness of some of their positions, or how many of their talking points are contradictory.
we are polarized and tribal beyond repair.
Here’s new video with definitive proof Good was interfering with ice operations prior to the shooting. She wasn’t just an innocent bystander, or just an observer:

People that “want to change the way the government does what we do” are now considered domestic terrorists.

I did not write this, only sharing. I strongly suggest reading it atleast twice, regardless of your side, its 100% spot on. -DR
I’m a mother, so I’m going to comment right now. I will say this exactly the way a mother thinks it, raw, direct, and without pretending this is complicated.
A 37-year-old woman. Three kids. Middle of a work week. The father of those children is dead. She is the parent left. The one job she has above every cause, every protest, every headline, is getting home to her kids.
And what is she doing instead?
She’s out of state (other reports claim she lives there), in the street, in her car, blocking federal agents who are doing their job. Not alone! Her partner is right there filming her like this is some brave little documentary moment. Around them: sirens blaring, people yelling, pure chaos, manufactured chaos, so agents can’t do their lawful duty.
Her window is down. She hears the orders. She understands the orders. She ignores the orders.
Then she puts the car in reverse.
Still doesn’t comply.
Then she puts it in drive, NOT park! She moves forward into the agent.
That’s not “confusion.”
That’s not “panic.”
That’s decision after decision after decision.
Now put yourself in the agent’s shoes for half a second. A driver is already in an unlawful act! refusing commands in a hostile, chaotic scene, and now that driver uses a vehicle to move toward you. You get a split second. You don’t get the luxury of “Maybe she’s just stressed.” You have to assume the worst, you have to think of protecting other people like the partner at the window, because if you assume the best and you’re wrong, you don’t go home or someone else.
So the agent fires after she makes an intentional and aggressive move toward him, because he has no idea what her intentions are, and she just demonstrated she’s willing to escalate.
Now… imagine her three kids. At school. Sitting there like any other day. Not knowing their mother is out playing street-hero games for criminals in the middle of a work week, with the two adults responsible for them!
She didn’t think about them.
She didn’t think, “If I get arrested, who picks my babies up?”
She didn’t think, “If I get hurt, who raises them?”
She didn’t think, “If I die, they have nobody.”
She thought about protecting criminals.
She thought about interfering with federal agents.
She thought about the camera.
She thought about the crowd.
She thought about the moment.
There is no amount of evidence, money, tears on TV, or news spin that can make this make sense.
As a mother: NOTHING about this makes sense.
At minimum, she knew her actions could get her arrested. At minimum. And she still chose it. She chose strangers. She chose chaos. She chose lawlessness.
Make it make sense, because the only thing I see is three kids who just got abandoned by the only parent they had left, not by accident… but by a series of deliberate choices.

One factor here about this incident- Until you have gone through a para-military training academy, put on a uniform and badge and actually go out and served in the streets and dealt with the people in a public safety type capacity, you have no fucking idea what its like to be that officer.
You can watch all the TV and movies you want, all the COPS episodes, but until you actually and physically have to go out in the street and tell or direct someone/complete strangers or try to stop their bleeding or evaluate people at a fire or have them spit or vomit on you- you comfortable keyboard commandos here have no fucking clue what its like.
99% of you here have no fucking clue what its like to serve in the streets and have to literally make split second decisions.
I once had to look a 37 years old dying young woman in the face who just shot herself in the chest with a revolver and bleeding out and there wasnt anything I could do. My partner- he freaked out and froze, hes never seen that before. I can send my written Washoe County Sheriff report to Druff and he can confirm this account. Also- doing CPR on a dead child or infant, theres no joy in it, its hard to deal with.
Some of you think its so easy to criticize and troll behind a screen, but have never once rendered aid to a complete stranger. That ICE officer followed policy and his training, he did not go to work that day hoping to kill someone.
Most of the members here are beta male cowards in real life that troll behind the safety of their keyboards and havent served the public in any way.

That lady couldn’t care less about immigrants all her and her wife care about are clicks and likes on their stupid social media….and now she’s dead, her wife is lapping up all the attention like a starved kitten.
Just let yourself be arrested, spend a night in jail and get on with your life, straight out of the Greta thundberg playbook.
