I mean we elected a reality star president with zero qualifications. And in a general knowledge about the world test, Fuentes beats the fuck out of Trump. Trump is the least intellectually curious person alive.

I don’t think we are ever going back to normal after Trump. What that means I have no idea, but it’s nothing like what was before. But being entertaining is not going to lose its appeal. He’s too young to run for office, but I’ll be shocked if he goes anywhere but up.

Like you knew Trump and his style would increase political violence, but there has always been a lot of assholes so it’s hard to pinpoint things.

But like this incident with Portnoy a few weeks ago. He’s a douche who should always be punched in public, but this kid going at him over Israel was surprising. At that age there is about a 99% chance he’s a groyper. Young people have been way more docile than in previous eras, but it feels like that might be changing.

here's the thing though, what Nick points out is the stupidity of it all, how stupid our (US Govt.+local and state Govts.) policies are... his solution or realistic policy is... is to quit doing stupid things and shooting ourselves in the foot, like allowing the billions $$ to be stolen in Minn. the billions wasted on foreign aid, 90 + % of it is fraud... illinois is in a big deficit cause they gave all the money to illegal aliens cause they are a "sanctuary state".... i mean that's the solution or realistic policy that he doesn't say out loud i guess. is quit doing stupid shit like open borders and funneling our tax dollars to illegal aliens and lining politicians pockets through "foreign aid"...

Would have been true but nobody in the GOP rose to take his place. DeSantis seemed to be that one but he fucked everything up in multiple ways, most notably launching too late, and then doing so in bizarre and awkward fashion.

Anyway the big difference here is that Trump already had a mainstream movement (not just online), and had already been elected President. Nick is a guy who was the hero of groypers for years, but not much else, and now suddenly he's been catapulted into more notoriety. When the schtick gets old, he probably fades back.
