While it's true I got a bargain (I bought 90 minutes before the game), you couldn't get nosebleeds for this game at any point for $606, let alone decent field level seats.
    Ohtani wasn’t pitching. Just Kershaw.

Ohtani’s wife is more elusive than Melania. What’s up with that?

Last year he abruptly announced he was married. It wasn't even widely known that he had a girlfriend.

There was some skepticism, with the Dodgers-haters screaming "beard", asserting that his handlers quickly found him a "wife" in order to dispel any possible gay rumors.

    I think he's just private.

In the meantime, Sean Perry is in da house, dressed like Super Mario for some reason.

The unexpected issue here, beyond the bad bullpen, has been the Dodgers' bats being dead at home.

They've had 2 runs in the last 19 innings.

I blame Jayjami and Sean Perry.

Made some coin between last night and tonight.

We thought game 3 was the big one but turns out game 5 will be the one (for now)

They are on the loge, not field level.

Ohtani bought a place at the Mauna Kea. Maybe I'll see him and his new wife next month when I'm there for Thanksgiving.

    Manua Kea?

    Isn't that like $1200/night now?

That ski resort job must have paid well.

I used to go to Mauna Kea in the '90s and '00s when it was more reasonably priced. Now it's too damn expensive, so I stay at the Hapuna Prince next door, which is also a good place, though not quite as high end. Great snorkeling off that beach, too. Just gotta hope a shark doesn't eat you. A shark ate some woman about 2 weeks after I was last there.

I see nosebleeds in Toronto for game 6 are presently $1300 USD, which translates to like $100,000 CAD.

    LOL Canada

Toronto is awful for ticket prices in all sports.

That being said some teams aren't in the playoffs every single year and get playoff fatigue prices.

If the Dodgers win tonight I would imagine prices will drop but if the Jays pull it off tonight they likely skyrocket even more.

    Vladdy +275 big value
    Bichette +7000 loser
Clement +7000 loser **funny despite his average he gets 0 love.
    Yesavage +20000 loser

And let's be honest with ourselves it's Ohtani vs Vladdy.

With parking and modern public transportation you can consider watching the whole game at Roger’s Center like a human being instead of the EoT Escape From New York apocalyptic scene 8th inning in LA.

Maybe the full 9 in Toronto is a value vs 7⅔ at Dodgers Stadium

I did a gig as a kid with the company that installed the fire alarm in Roger’s Center. The manufacturer was Toronto based. It was one of the first microprocessor based and distributed systems and it was a disaster. The program was burned onto EPROMs. I could poke hexadecimal data into them on site which was viewed as magic back in the day. Evacuating the stadium due to false alarms at Rogers Center simply wasn’t an option.

A fire watch in lieu of a working system would have freaked people out. Fun times but great stadium. World class city

Everyone concerned would literally pay any sum to make the problem go away.

Yeah I always had you chalked up as one of those dudes who believes you die when you completely slow down or just worked jobs you thought were cool to meet new people. Like it would take a whole season of one of your random jobs to pay for a few nights of your trips, knew you were an attorney and it was pretty clear your father was hella rich. Plus your view isn’t blackjack dealer views

No one getting on the lift is in a bad mood. Everyone smiles on the slopes. It’s a healthy party. Life affirming shit.

I pushed 8 yesterday. Dodgers can’t score. Fuck them.

I bought over 7.5 at the open immediately after Tuesday’s game ended.

I view this as sharp because despite all evidence to the contrary considering Dodgers weak offense l think Yesavage won’t be in terribly long. Bullpens have been thru the wringer. Thinking Dodgers can score was a sharp and contrary perspective immediately after their grossly impotent display.

It’s 8 now and I would wait live for better numbers.

Live I will blindly autobet over 6.5. It’s always been available and has been an ATM. Worked last night.

Playoff baseball is ploppy wagering at its finest. Dodgers 2:1 is insanity. -207 now. No World Series team should be 2:1. There are a million Druff’s out there in the naked city who are experienced gamblers who simply can’t take the value. YOU take some Jays if you are a committed EV bettor. You really have to have daily action to yield the value. Maybe you skip this.

My perspective is skewed cause I have Dodgers futures like the spineless traitor that I am

Sit tight and wait for a better total. Patience has value. Either pitcher could get lit up in the 1st but then we move on and go to plan B.

8 has push potential but there is only one hockey game so a cultured individual has time to live bet.

I imagine ski worker culture is like restaurant employee culture. There is a daily after party and it’s a gathering of outgoing personalities.

I wonder if the ski resort venture capital now offers housing to address the labor problem in resorts populated by billionaires

Jayjami is an interesting character who shares bits of his life …. the sort of lib who has ruined this site and must be purged for the glory of the PFA Reich
