I assume it’s what sharps like. On its face, Philly off two losses against Carson Wentz and a meh Vikings team feels like a trap pick. One I walked straight into. I kept checking injury reports.
Please kalam keep it to yourself if you’re on Philly as I’d like to think it was just cruel fate as I have a pretty large number on it.
My family surprised me with a trip to the sports bar for 1 games. So im going to degen a few more things
KC -12.5
Mahomes first TD +1600
They really wanted to come to the strip mall to go shoe shopping -1500
Add
First td
Boutee +1500
Douglas +2500
I don’t love that Philly game. Should be up more. Wish I had bet first half. Contemplating taking some Vikings +5.5 and lessen exposure with small chance to scoop both, or push one and scoop the other. I have -2. Different question if it’s -2.5 in 14-6 game. A made or missed 2 eventually is on the table /
well browns was super easy whose got night game picks
Disaster.
Had 2 bets on the Sunday night game. I had a Falcons teaser where other side already hit, where I teased to 8. Atlanta is covering the whole game in a very low scoring game and are down 3 near the end of the 4th and have 4th and 1 from the 49er 35. If they kick a FG it is tie game and I am golden, and if they convert I am in great shape to at least cover 8.
They try a pass play and get stuffed, and then 49ers march down field and score a TD (on a play where an offensive lineman pulled McAfrey in by his jersey which should have been a 10 yard penalty but refs missed it), including converting a 3rd and 13 where no one covered McAfrey for some reason (he literally just ran 15 yards downfield and Jones threw him the ball with no one near him)
Now I need a backdoor score from a team that only scored 10 the whole night so far. Not too likely.
And the cherry on top is that I also took DeMarcus Robinson receiving yard prop O16.5. Game flow is no good for this prop and 49ers are just running and short passes and he isn't playing the whole night and I am actually hoping he never goes in and I get a push. Nope, he came in beginning of 4th and got 1 target on a long pass that would have hit his prop and dropped it.
Game. Set. Match.
Edit: The potential backdoor drive couldn't have been more pathetic. They got one first down on a defensive holding and then never had a chance. 4 and out on 4 passes that never had a chance of completing.
I honestly dont know how this keeps happening. I somehow win like 40% of my coin flip bets over a fairly large sample size.
This week I went 18-32 (18 wins and 32 losses) mostly on NCAAF and NFL sides and totals, which are theoretically 50/50 propositions. I do something like 3 teases and 2 props a week, but the vast majority are just sides and totals.
Last week I went 24-22 (rare slightly losing week after juice)
The week before that I went 19-29.
The week before that 21-24.
So 82-107 over a month. And this is mostly 50/50 bets. Insane. You could just fade me and be the greatest sports bettor alive. I just dont get it.
Not exactly related to wagering, but the Florida coach getting fired today off of a win is pretty interesting. They have played by far the hardest schedule in the nation (and it isn't getting easier) and have actually only lost 1 game where they were the favorite (S. Florida), and even won one when they were an underdog (Texas). They are 3-4, but they have only been favored 3 times, despite being somewhere between the 20-25 highest power rated team in the nation. I guess if you are Florida you cant be a 0.500 team, but the schedule makers sure aren't doing them any favors.
I remember last year same thing. Barely made a bowl but insanely difficult schedule and even pulled a couple upsets over very highly rated teams.
i somehow talked myself into cmc under 65 rushing and i paid juice just an absolute trash move by me
He was dead man walking but they were going to let him play out the string in fairness to the team so long as things didnt get out of hand.
When Penn St let go of franklin the brain trust that make up the Florida donors decided that if they waited to make public that the job is open any "alpha candidate" would go to Penn St. After Indiana coach resigned they really panicked and here we are.
Im genuinely surprised Norvell hasn't been canned at FSU for similar reasons.
Ugh I totally forgot there were 2 games tonight.
100% was going to bet on Lions spread. Thought game was after 5pm PT. Maybe TB will cover and it will be a blessing, but I like how they look so far.
