Man I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed an NFL game as much as last night. Two over 40 dudes making incredible throw after incredible throw. They literally put on a masterclass for how to play QB and professionalism. The value of vets. Flacco 10 days into the playbook just dissecting the defense. Fuck, right up to Rodgers just throwing a 70 yard Hail Mary like it was 2008 to end the game. If that was what the NFL was like all the time I wouldn’t need to bet it to stay awake

It was fun to see. Tom Brady was the last active NFL player older than me, and when he retired it made me oddly feel older than any birthday had. Nice to see the now old-guard out there slinging it.

Also really enjoyed the final score. Despite being a Vikings fan, the Steelers are my most hated team, for a few different reasons. The schadenfreude of Flacco being traded in division and then beating the Steelers. Chefs kiss.

Provided that Rich Hill is actually done, I'm now 11 years older than the oldest MLB player, as well as the same 11 years older than the oldest NFL player (Rodgers).

Feels strange when I talk about "old" players now, and they're over a decade younger than me.

Might be a lot of carnage this week.

New England is very inconsistent, and is on the road.

Chicago simply isn't a very good team, and their 3-2 record is misleading. Two of the victories were 1-pointers against the Redskins and Raiders.

The Broncos are also inconsistent, and almost lost to the woeful Jets last week, despite holding Fields to 45 yards.



I took the ploppy route with KC. Obviously I'm hoping for those other 3 to lose. The 5th most popular selection, Steelers, already lost, eating 181 entries. Right now each Circa Survivor entry is worth $4422.

I actually haven't bet any of my picks yet. BOL/Lowvig were down, and I wanted to see their lines. Then I forgot to bet.

I might do NO moneyline, or half moneyline. I kinda agree with you that they're going to beat this overrated Chicago team.
