The left: Let's talk up China as a wonderful place compared to the US, even though their standard of living sucks for the vast majority of citizens, worker/human rights are nonexistent, censorship is rampant, and people get "disappeared" for criticizing the government.
Also the left: Let's take the side of Hamas, even though they are an illiberal organization of religious fanatics who murder gay people and openly declare that women have no rights. Let's also believe all of their propaganda, even though Islamic terror groups have been known for blatantly lying for decades. Let's also call the retaliation against them "a genocide" even though Hamas itself has stated they want genocide against the Jewish people.
