I saw a news report on Twitter last night that said investigators were requesting a security detail to protect them when they investigate, and with it being South Carolina, they made it sound a sure thing the explosion was an act of terrorism against the judge. But I saw it isn’t yet established. Obviously it’s arson or an accident, but if not, it’s going to be a right winger. but considering I hate the deserts and splits and Mickeys of the world who post fake shit constantly and then double down rather than admit they weren’t accurate, I was premature with that article and linking it to right wingers. Maybe it’s an amazing coincidence. So replace that with the Michigan Whitmer loons or some other thing and the point still stands.

Antifa doesn't do orchestrated attacks. That's not their game.

They take to the streets to attack, intimidate, and destroy.

You can take action against Antifa while, at the same time, clamping down on other violent extremists.

There is also a difference between lone wolf attackers (such as the Kirk shooter, the Congressional baseball shooter, the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter, etc) and violent groups/movements.

You can't do much to prevent lone wolf attacks, except bring down the rhetoric which makes them feel justified.

But if there's a consistent group or movement causing problems, that does need to be dealt with, regardless of the ideology.

I keep reading that Antifa is a "distraction" from Trump's other issues. Maybe, maybe not. However, that's not really important here. If Antifa is legitimately on the attack, which they are right now at the ICE facility in Portland, then it is the correct move to handle them.
