I actually think ABC suspending him would have been warranted on its own, but not because of government pressure.

Oh, and Jimmy Kimmel also was once mean to our own Master Scalir. When Ken couldn't make a KROQ event in 1995 where he was planned to be participating, his mom called and told them he wouldn't be able to be present. Kimmel, then a KROQ employee, was on stage outside and asking if everyone was there, and an assistant said, "Ken isn't here. His mom called and said he can't come." Kimmel responded, "What? Ken's mom called and said he CAN'T CUM?"

The crowd laughed. I felt bad for Ken.

It’s worse than that. The government is flexing on this. Blazing new authoritarian frontiers going forward. Given the current chaos there will be little objection from the public.
