Remember Fam was insanely opposed to giving his players card to the pit bosses when sitting at a baccy table? He was positive that handing over his players card would electronically signal the cheating auto shufflers to read his mind and rig his cards.
The caveat is that a player cannot get rated and accrue hours each time that they play unless they give the pit boss their players card. Okay Fam?

The REAL reason they insist on getting a players card is for Baccarat Commission! Many casinos including CET properties have markers to represent commission owed on every Banker win, at the end of the shoe you pay the total commission owed no questions asked.

However if some less than honest person decided to skip out and leave before paying said commission claiming "they'll be right back", like someone who claims to be rich but can't afford to do their laundry, okaaaay???

Then the casino will eat that commission and the person gets away scott free and will keep doing this sort of thing, okaaaaaay???

So it is just a measure the casino uses to prevent that and keep the person accountable as they will be confronted with the owed commission amount when they play Baccy at a CET property! Okaaaaay???

I was actually referring to Fam in particular and why they would want HIS player's card when he rolls up to the Baccy table! It's safe to say that's the only table he plays regularly!

But you are correct, the reason they hound normal people and ploppies for their player cards is for rating and marketing purposes!
