***2025 Skatz 12th Annual FF League - $350 & More Freeroll***

Draft is set for next Wednesday night, September 3, 2025 at 9:00pm central time. The league auto-renewed. Anyone who played last year please confirm if you're in on here, Skatz, through a PM, or on the league message board.


Same thing as last year:


I will put up a winner take all prize in Amazon gift card codes or any major crypto of $350 that any non scamming, non Judas Chaps, that drafts or takes over a team before the start of Sunday football in week 3 will be eligible for.


Adding a 100 dollar prize to the highest regular season one week point total scored by a team.

50 dollar prize to the team that started the highest individual scoring wr/rb/te in the regular season.

25 dollar prize to the person who either eliminates Chaps (if he plays) from the playoffs if he makes the playoffs.


To be eligible for these prizes you cannot abandon your team. Abandoning means not setting a lineup or not making any changes when one is clearly necessary for three consecutive weeks or more. If Chaps plays this year he will be eligible for a 10 dollar McDonald's gift card if he wins the league or any of the prizes.

Also, I didn't realize Skatz wasn't working. The hosting upgraded the PHP again. This time I installed a new version compatible with PHP 7 plus and manually repaired some plugins that could be fixed. Site is working fully again.

I'm surprised the host didn't upgrade it way past that, as the latest is 8.4.

Skatz is still on vBulletin 3.8, right? That's even more ancient than this site's vBulletin 4. I can't run PHP 7.2 or later, so switching hosting would be a tremendous hassle at this point. On the plus side, I have a bare metal machine, and I maintain it all myself remotely (with occasional help from them when it's something I can't do from afar), so they don't force-upgrade anything on me.

They did up my price to maintain this ancient machine, which I stupidly just paid for awhile. Finally one day I realized I was being stupid to have accepted this without question, so I talked them down to something far more reasonable.

3.8.11 is compatible up to php 7.2. There's an unofficial 3.8.14 that goes beyond that, I would imagine there has to be the same for 4, but it might complicate upgrading to vbulletin 5 or 6 in the future.
