I just don't want airpods because it's another expensive device to potentially lose, break, or forget to charge. I like the simplicity of wired headphones. Besides, I got used to this in the 1980s Sony Walkman days!

There are many forms of "first class" nowadays on US airlines. Strangely enough, most of what is called "first class" these days is shit, and much of what they call "business class" is much better -- even though it used to be reversed. There's usually economy, economy plus, and business/first.

The worst of the business/first seats are just wider and have more legroom, and they serve you a shitty meal, but that's pretty much it.

Then there's lie-flat business class where your seat lies all the way back like a bed, though it's not that long (so unfortunately I can't lie completely flat, because I'm too tall -- a problem Chrissy wouldn't have!)

Then there's the lie-flat "pod" type business class seats, where you get what looks like a little cubicle. This is known as "Polaris" on United, and "Flagship" on American.

The worst of the business/first seats can usually be had pretty cheaply. When I flew LA-Vegas in June, I paid about $60 more for those type of seats compared to economy plus, and I got free baggage, so it was almost no additional cost.

I bet Chrissy got some kind of cheap deal (or used airline miles) to get these seats, and now he's trying to show off like he's a rich guy.

As someone who used to travel regularly business class with my J.O.B before I retired this is defo not the way it’s presented.
Even in business class you would have a choice of 3/4 starters and mains which would be served separately with cutlery napkins etc, same with first class just with better food wines and champagne, certainly not just a can of Diet Coke plonked on the fold down table seat with all the courses at the same time 😂
