One truth I operate from is that numbers are always revised DOWN. The irony about the firing of the labor commissioner is that she initially put out ROSY numbers. Don’t overlook the fact that not just the RECENT job numbers were revised down but THE WHOLE YEAR’S numbers were revised down. They are spectacularly awful compared to the prior year or two.

The only value to .gov economic reports in real time is how you think other traders will react when they flash the cards. The reports only serve to provide action in my world. Little more
