Apparently JLR (Jaguar Land Rover owned by Tata Motors) has learned nothing from the Bud Light woke marketing fiasco. They have decide to kill off any of the Prestige and Luxury image that the brans has enjoyed since it's inception. In case you haven't seen it, here is the latest attempt to reboot the brand with a new Woke DEI initiative.
The damage is already done. The country club members and aristocrats that up until now made up the bulk of the Jaguar buyers were basically told to go fuck themselves by a new team of marketers that are marketing to a small group (less than 2% of the buying public that cannot even afford their vehicles).
Also the add has been pointed out as racist by having the only asian person wearing yellow.
I currently own a Jaguar F Pace SVR (supercharged V8) and was looking to get a new one (my lease is up). Not anymore. They lost me as a consumer and have damaged the brand. People are now calling the brand "Faguar". This is Bud Light 2.0.
