The Hack Your iPhone repo for jailbroken iPhones has been controversial, as it provided a lot of pirated jailbreak tweaks/apps, and many in the community saw it as hostile to those who worked hard on these products and wanted just a little bit of remuneration for it.

I can't argue with that logic. In general, I would pay for the premium tweaks/apps I really wanted, unless they were severely overpriced, in which case yes I confess I pirated a few.

However today is a different matter entirely. Due to the decline of iPhone jailbreaking (there hasn't been a full root jailbreak since iOS 14, and no jailbreak at all since iOS 16), many repos have gone offline, making it impossible to get tweaks/apps you might want or need.

Fortunately, Hack Your iPhone contains a lot of the stuff which is otherwise gone. There was one problem though. Hack Your iPhone itself vanished for awhile!

Some Canadian dude decided to recreate Hack Your iPhone, and as of March 2025, it's available as a repo again.
