Hookers aren't my thing, but any time I have ever seen the lineup at one of those legal whorehouses, there isn't a single attractive woman in their whole lineup. Not even one that if I met in a bar at this age I would take home let alone when I was young.

Any beautiful or even quite attractive girl can find some sugar daddy or start an onlyfans or be with a high end agency and end up fucking one old fat guy a night for $10k rather than one an hour. It is like anything regulated, once the owners, state, etc take their cut, they have a bunch of beat chubby hags working there that wouldn't be a score at some dive bar on a Tuesday night. The whole lineup are women you'd take a pass on if they were free. I recall when they did shows on the Bunny Ranch on HBO or whatever and I tuned it thinking I would see a bunch of hot chicks and there wasn't even a 5 in the building. I would eat a bullet before ever being that desperate.

Correct.

In the mid-2000s, Miri and I were driving on I-80 east of Reno, and we saw some billboard for one of those legalized Nevada whorehouses. They promoted a "free tour", so we got off the freeway and did it for lulz.

They actually lined the women up for us as part of the tour (even though it was clear we weren't buying anything), and I found none of them attractive.

The woman giving us the tour was like 47 and overweight, and looked like what you'd picture a 47-year-old living in a trailer park to be. She was at least friendly and self-effacing, volunteering to us that she knew she wasn't young or attractive, but that "some men who come through want a woman like me, one with personality, one they can relate to".

But even putting that aside, another issue with the legalized places is that it becomes such a cold, awkward business transaction. You show up, the girls line up, you pick one, and then you pick from a "menu of serivces" (lol) regarding what they want. Oh, and apparently they inspect your dick to make sure they don't see any apparent STDs.

The whole process sounds like such a turn-off, I can't imagine being able to get down to business with the girl after all that, even if she is attractive.

At least with a regular hooker who you bring to your hotel room, you can kinda sorta pretend it's a girl who actually wants to fuck you, at least until you pay her at the end.



With all of that said, I've never paid a woman for anything sexual. Not once. Just was never appealing to me. A big part of the enjoyment of anything sexual comes from both people being excited and wanting each other, and if I know the girl is only there because I'm paying for a service, that factor is completely missing, and I just couldn't get excited for it.

I'm not saying that sex always had to mean something. It didn't. I've had one night stands before where it was clear it was going nowhere after that, or in some cases, I didn't even want anything beyond that night. But at least for the moment, both of us were there because we liked each other, and that was good enough.

Yeah, always thought I can get rock hard for a 5 thats into me more than a 10 for $$$.

I have met a girl out here who does the high-class, GFE experience. Hot chick, and i can see a rich dude with similar feelings about "prostitution" doing that instead. Girl has to act, to an extent, I suppose. But getting paid to go on a yacht in the Mediterranean for a month probably doesn't require Meryl Streep like chops.

Over the last 15 years, I have driven the 95 from Vegas to Hawthorn to Reno. Over time, I have taken mental notes of the brothels on the route. Below are some random notes-

- The Shady Lady Brothel as been converted to the Shady Lady Bed and Breakfast. Its yellow in color and looks pretty small from the outside.

- There is a brothel in Mineral County in the town of Mina, has a lot of white lights, never been in there. Wildcat Ranch still open?

- At one of the main junctions, there was a brothel, I stopped in for a soda, checked it out and left.

- The Angel's Brothel sign is still up and the wrecked airplane out front, brothel appears to be closed for a long time.

- I do remember seeing the NV 50 Restaurant that Hoff owned on the drive into Carson City, but it was always dead there.

- There is a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada called The Chicken Ranch, looks upscale online, probably a good place.

Over time, I just assume all brothels in Nevada will shut down due to slow business. Dennis Hoff had a winner with the Cat House TV show.

But I have never gone into the Alien Cathouse just to check it out. Maybe some day I'll go in. Also, one PFA member here said his father owned or serviced the gas pumps there.

Note- If you have ever gone shooting at the Carson City shooting range, the Bunny Rance is in Churchill County just over the hill, not too far away.

The gas is so overpriced there because they can get it basically. Has to be $1.50 a gallon markup even with transportation costs. Is the retail set by your father or the store? And question 2, which is none of my business is how is the profit divided?

I ask because from his history in the industry there were different structures based on branding and guarantees to operators from a set cents per gallon profit of say .10 up to full profit (or loss) based on market conditions based on having to buy from a certain supplier.

My dad (rather one of his employees) sets the price. The operator used to get a penny a gallon, probably it’s a couple cents more these days. If the store operator doesn’t like it or doesn’t pay, we go out there a pull the pumps. That usually solves the problem. Of course, when we sell gas at a loss they still get their cut.

Just watched both episodes and had to come back here and give a review with random notes.

The first two episodes were dark and just sank down to multiple negative levels.

This was a hit piece on Dennis Hoff. Now that he's dead, alot of people got their shots in. I believe most or all of it to be true.

Sex trafficking, exploitation was covered alot. Seems like this show was a college project.

Someone on the show said that Hoff was murdered in relation to him running for office.

They reviewed an incident with Vince Neil and showed the police report. Neil allegedly choked a woman working there.

There was atleast 4 deaths at the Bunny Ranch.

Lastly, I dont know what the future is for legal prostitution in Nevada. This series isnt going to help and really paints the whole state in the negative. I dont see the business growing in Nevada and slowly being phased out over the next 5+ years.
