Not a historic first, which is pretty hard to do in baseball with a billion games having been played, but Cincinnati became the first team in 65 years to lose 3 consecutive games 1-0 today.

Had this tonight. When the game you envisioned all happens by inning 4 and you have to sweat the Yankees bullpen. Gave me 2023 Dodgers run line vibes when it was never safe with the bullpen. Took the total down by 1 in completely unnecessary fashion. Knew Cookie would give up some runs and needed an over.

What do we think about the Sox versus Willie’s cardinals? Can’t help but fade Buehler whatever coast he’s on.

Now Freddie is on the DL.

I wonder if this ankle is going to kill his career. Freddie is 35, and it looks like even 4.5 months of an offseason wasn't enough to totally heal it.

It's too bad, because otherwise Freddie is still looking great with the bat. I saw him hit that 1st inning HR, and he's been gone ever since that game concluded.

Amazingly his huge World Series performance was WITH the bad ankle!

Meh, I gave up value as it seemed to be moving lower but it’s went the other way and I’m seeing +130, which is more in line with what BPP has it. The Sox just haven’t looked good to me yet, but betting against them in their home opener might be too reactionary.

I’ll keep it and hope for a Buehler meltdown.

It’s early but Buehler is down 2 clicks on his fastball this year. Considering he was ass last year this ain’t great.

How he put it together for Dodgers playoffs was pure luck and guts but enough to fool the Sawks into taking him.

I’ll prolly do some kind of BTTS like F7.

Weird it just moved heavily since I made that post. Now it’s +108 and +110 on my book and espn. So I guess I have decent price. It’s really a bet against Walker

The weather is ass today as you can see. Fenway is the better of a bad lot. Not EV for runs. I’m gonna take a pass.

If you have CLV then you got something. Compare it to Pinny for a sharp take

Druff’s game at Citizens is not rated highly either for offense weather. The prop for longest Dodger streak in 2025 was 8.5 games -150 and that could cash in the first 9 games. lol

I’ve been watching so much Yankees. That Ben Rice is one of your local kids, right? He has really been good. Great eye at the plate and some pop.

Wow. A Dartmouth kid in the Show. Not just the Show but NYC. That’s fun. Thanks.

Looks like mid-60's in Boston today? It's literally been 6-7 years since I've given 2 shits about the Sox (and by extension MLB) but there's expectations now and I think the bats are starting to come around. Fenway is a tough place when the Sox are good and the fans aren't indifferent. Devers snapped out of his funk yesterday and the 2nd baseman might be a budding super-star.

Anyway, good luck BCR with the bet against them. Buehler seems like an awful mistake so far. Wouldn't surprise me to see a 10-8 game. Today is going to be good weather in Boston but the rest of the weekend looks cold and rainy.

    Torpedo Tales

Dodgers Max Muncy has been bad. He tried the torpedo bat and was still ass. He puts the torpedo bat down last game and tied the game up with a base hit to center right. 5-5 then Ohtani walk off HR

Both Max Muncys suck right now. I had the As the other day and have been on Dodgers most nights and neither has done shit.

    Brandon Lowe is playing inside

+450 HR for my DK No Sweat

Matt Olson big barrels but no HR to show for them yet. Was tempting.

Luis Castillo started yesterday for Seattle, and starting today is....Luis Castillo!

Or, "Luis F Castillo", now. I wonder how it feels to be the lesser accomplished one and forced to now have your middle initial used.

Also funny how that only happens if on the same team. I don't see a MI for either Max Muncy.

Reminds me of the great quote from Frank Robinson (when a member of the Orioles); "I dont know how you reporters keep getting Brooks and I mixed up.....we wear different numbers."

Different numbers. Never heard that one somehow.

Man I gave BPP more credit than simply looking out my window. STL/BOS slugfest. But we adapted live for a few shekels

Buehler is like a barn find. Maybe he can be restored to drivable condition. Maybe not

Kids this is what happens when you impulse bet before getting the opinion of the locals. Both these suggestions are winners. 10-8 might be low. Both teams scored and then some.

    My bet a loser.

I’m going to start first 5’ing these Yankees run lines. I’m in the familiar position of having to sweat their bullpen every night from the 4th.
