Isn’t the whole point of DOGE that millions add up. Mickey said it’s cheaper to water poppies than feed a prisoner forever. That probably sounds good at the bar but is untrue. A normal death penalty case costs 3x the cost of incarcerating someone for life. This isn’t a normal case.
Unless including it makes him plea bargain, they won’t get death, almost zero chance, and he doesn’t strike me as the type to plea bargain. I think he will want his 15 minutes. Maybe I’m wrong, but outside a plea bargain, it is dumb. Watching him not get the death penalty isn’t any type of message.
