    CZR Video Poker

I was at Horseshoe St. Louis last week, early March 2025. So I inventoried their video poker as pertains to obtaining a Diamond Card In A Day. Most of the games Druff has listed below are no longer there. This is what he has listed. The only things left on this list are 8/5 Bonus Poker and Airport Deuces (also known as Ugly Ducks).

The better of the two is Horseshoe St. Louis.

9-7-5 Double Bonus Poker (99.11% return), $1 per credit, 1 play on most, but 3/5 play in one area, $5/$10 in high limit: The $1 3/5 play machines are on All Star II machines near the promo desk, also near the non-smoking area, and also near the high-limit entrance. There are a few 1-play machines in the main area. Globar's bartops have a progressive, which adds 0.055% return for each 100 credits extra on Royal, but they're $1/1-play machines.
Average loss getting to Diamond: $445

But there are some other games above 98%:

Single Line 9/5 Jacks or Better, 98.45%
Triple Play/Five Play 8/6 Jacks or Better, 98.39%
Single Line 8/5/35 Jacks or Better, 99.61%

Except, these paybacks will be a little lower because Missouri automatically holds out 4% state tax on any handpays.

The 8/5/35 means quads pay 35 for 1. A rare game but it's at Horseshoe St. Louis. The best game there to play for the Diamond Card. Notice in the lower left of the 8/5/35 pic that the game is called Bonus Poker. But it's best described as 8/5/35.

    Thank you!

This hadn't been surveyed in awhile, so I appreciate the update. I'll fix my list and credit you.

What are the denominations? Only $5/credit?

Assuming $5/credit, the 4% tax brings the Royal down to 3840 and the Straight Flush down to 240. That takes the game down to 99.56%, still very good. Great find!

    Where is it?

All the games are in High Limit.

The 8/5/35 Jacks is $5/$10/$25. Can't remember the rest.

You'll notice in the pic, in the lower left below the GAME MENU tab, that Bonus Poker is listed as the name of the game but it's really 8/5/35 Jacks. This means that you have to punch up the Bonus Poker tab on the machine to find it.

    HARRAH'S NORTH KANSAS CITY

I visited this property in early March, 2025.

Druff has a 1$ 9/5 Jacks or Better game listed at Harrah's North Kansas City. I didn't see that game there but I wasn't looking for it either so can't say if it's still there or not.

These are the games I did find in their high limit room which will speed things up when playing for Diamond In A Day. They all came in $5/$10/$25 denoms:

    9/5 Jacks or Better, 98.44%
    8/5/30 Jacks or Better, 98.48%
    8/6 Bonus Poker Deluxe, 98.49%

Games are subject to Missouri 4% tax on handpays.

Again, the 8/5/30 Jacks is listed as Bonus Poker. That's the tab you will have to hit to find it.

I forgot to add that Harrah’s North Kansas City video poker is still $10 per TC.
