In short its a horses for courses play. Its a long long course, the longest on tour at 7700 depending on where they set pins. On top of that the rough is close to a US open setup where you are lucky to see a ball if you don't hit a fairway. So extrapolate these facts you need someone on tour that hits long and hits straight. Guy like zack johnson has zero shot here.

As far as Straka goes this course is a little ridged for him. Looking beyond this week I think hes a very good bet at the odds he was getting for masters and US open etc etc. i single handedly moved him from 120-1 to sub 75-1 at bookmaker for the masters. I think sepp wins a few this year

If he stands or sits for any length of time, he experiences migraines and severe pain. Basically the guy is bedridden.

This tourney has been fantastic. I firmly believe this success has taken the NHL by surprise. It won’t be duplicated by the Olympics or anything else. It was a magical gathering - the Trump v Canada thing was completely unexpected but just perfection
