Hey guys I'm the dude who gave you the way to get around almost any article paywall on the web, a trick that still work.
I'm here to give you another gift. Netflix is finally cracking down on multiaccounters. I will explain what they are doing, and then I will give you some ways to get around it.
Netflix is keeping track of the devices typically connected to the home IP address of the account. Those devices basically get a pass to work wherever they go, though not always. All other devices which aren't seen at the home IP are assumed to be friends or family members, and thus are now often getting messages disallowing them from watching.
It will look something like this:
This will send a code to the original account holder, and you'll only have a short time to enter it. This will come up frequently in order to make it burdensome on both parties to share the account.
Don't fret, though, there are ways around this.
First off, if you live near the account holder, just bring your devices to his/her house, log into Netflix under each, watch a show for 30 seconds or more on each device. This will connect the device to the household, and make it less likely (though still possible) that you'll receive the above method.
If that isn't practical, or if you're still getting the message, there is a great workaround I discovered which always works. It only works on mobile devices, such as iPhones, Android phones, and iPads:
1) Fully close Netflix app
2) Put device into airplane mode. Make sure Wifi is also turned off.
3) Start Netflix app (make sure you do not have any internet connection of any kind)
4) Put device out of airplane mode.
You should be able to watch normally. Enjoy!
