yeah i seen the scenario where this game for the Lions doesn't mean that much and the real game will be Sunday against the Vikings, but Campbell said they are coming to play, but i've readjusted what i am going to do.... throwing out the total over 50 and i am just going .4 units on DET covering the -3.5, just got in too, the line moved to -4....
Damn. I bet Trey Murphy O19.5 points tonight against Clippers. He has been shooting very well and aggressive last few games. At halftime he had 15 point on 8 shots. Very efficient. The 2nd half he played 20 minutes and went 1 for 2, taking both shots early in the 3rd, and missed his prop.
He literally spent the whole second half standing in the corner being guarded by Powell. It is like the Clippers and Pelicans came to a gentleman's agreement at halftime to just play 4 on 4 whenever NO was on offense. Murphy never left the corner the whole half, and Powell never left him to help on anyone else.
The agreement worked better for the Clippers, as NO was up by 6 at halftime and lost a game that went down to the buzzer. Powell scored 35 points in 40 minutes, so it was nice for Clippers he got to rest on defense the whole second half when he did most of his damage.
In LOL NO fail fashion, NO was down 2 points on basically the final possession of the game, and whoever had the ball (Murray I think) drove and then dished to their rookie center Missi, a 65% FT shooter who scores 9 points a game, mainly on dunks. He was intentionally fouled the second he caught it and predictably went 1-2 at line and they lost.
So tilting to lose a scoring prop on a guy who had 15 points at halftime and was playing good, and went 1-2 shooting in the second half; never even attempting to get involved in the offense. And obviously this was an intentional strategy by NO, that he would stand in the corner the whole second half, and if his guy (who happened to be their main shooter on offense, heaven forbid you make that guy work at all on defense) never left him then the other 4 guys would have more space to work.
Maybe employing fail strategies is why they are 5-27 despite having a some some very good players (on paper at least).
had em both pegged and cost myself a few bucks(again)... you guys should see how i cost myself money when i can't talk myself out of certain plays... oh well a win is a win... already thinking about the Vikings @ DET game... Detroit's defense is very bothersome to me... will be very curious what the opening lines are gonna be
NBA starts in about 2 hrs. MIL@IND over 230...
here is another one i don't like and actually hate it a lot more than the 1st pick above, MEM @ PHO under 236.5... Ja Morant is out and both teams are suffering injuries in key role player positions....
that was better... 229 no sweat win... except the first half the fuckin Grizzlies could not miss and the Suns were letting them waltz right in the lane and to the basket especially in the 1st quarter... sometimes i don't know who is dumber... the so called "sharps" or Vegas for following them.... lol... when that damn line moved on me in the wrong direction of course it got me nervous again... but i trusted what i saw when i looked over this game... anyways heading to the club with the boy...lol
Happy New Year...
Happy New Year dudes
Hoping my Chiefs sb win futures bet from directly after the sb last year comes in, 8/1 special lol
BALLIN'!!
Yes, I have Texas in a 3 team 10 point tease. And they were up 16 and cruising in the 4th and now it is tied and I dont know WTF is going on.
Texas will probably win by 2 points in 4x overtime anyway because that is how these things work, but it actually worked out for me that Az St tied it after scoring twice, as I had Texas teased to -2.5.
I had Suns 2nd half that I had to sweat till literally the last possession so I watched the 2nd half intently (I actually got super lucky to hit my bet, as it took Suns making a couple shots in garbage time AND Grizzlies missing a couple free throws).
The Suns (especially Booker) couldn't make a shot. Like you said, given Suns D was a sieve, game probably easily goes over easy if they can hit a shot. Hard to say sharps were dumb. Variance happens.
In last couple minutes of 4th Texas misses a FG and then Texas DB does a clear targeting around midfield to put Az St in FG position. It is happening.
Edit: They called it no targeting. I really dont know how. It looked like it in real time, and replay made it more obvious.
Edit: Texas kicker misses 2 FGs at end of game, including a potential walk off 38 yard attempt. Texas winning by 2 in OT definitely still in play.
What in the world is Texas doing? 3rd and 10 in OT and they throw the ball into the flat, where the receiver catches it at the line of scrimmage and would need to break 5 tackles to get the 1st down. (He didn't break any tackles and was tacked at line of scrimmage)
